A gem here in Kent, my husband and I try to stop by once a week for a delicious meal and great drinks. We have a habit of stopping by for the nachos (big portion which is great for two hungry people like ourselves) and the fries are just mwah chefs kiss. Apparently everything is made in house and you can tell by the great quality that it’s made with care. Edit: We came back again for Old Fashioneds, our fav, and the fries were nice and hot!We really want to like The Local. We need a good spot to hang in Kent. Kelly is fantastic, such great service the first two times we came. Dinner food is so so, brunch was great.This last time we went - the old fashioneds were great (they always are) but half of the fries were cold. Wow ever since this place reopened it is my #1 spot to hang out with friends in Kent. Great new friendly owners, clean environment, lots of space, fast and friendly service and great food! Even a wonderful cute patio and a giant TV. Can’t wait to try their breakfast knowing their dinner is sooo good. The mango habanero wings are great. Can’t wait to be a regular at this spot!
