Went there with my elderly mom for an early 5:45 dinner in June 22. Of course it was raining, so we sat inside. Hey-I'm from DC so I don't like it to rain every day. Don't worry, you can park very close by, so the rain was not a problem. I was surprised the place was not busy, maybe it was too early.Service was very good, properly attentive and knowledgeable without hovering. My mom had scallops which she said were fantastic. They came with "deconstructed" potatoes, which looked very interesting on the plate, as you can see. I had a kobe burger that was very good, but on the expensive side of what you'd expect. We had a beet and quinoa appetizer that was good, but the ratio of quinoa was a bit too high, the dish needed a little more beets and feta to get it right. I also had a strawberry spinach salad that had too much dressing and was a little disappointing the way it was put together. The views are nice, there were even some wedding pictures going on out on the dock while we were there during a break in the rain. The restaurant has that slightly unfortunate vibe of being part of a hotel that is holding it back from 5 stars, but the the food was good and the price was so close to being reasonable that I give it 4 and would consider eating there again.

Quality restaurant with great views. Went in expecting a different menu (one I saw a picture of on here...but they must change it up a lot) and ended up asking if they could add more veggies to their current pasta dish and they did it no problem. It was delicious! Family members loved the fish too. They also gave us complimentary champagne since we ate there to celebrate our engagement. So food, service, and location were all fantastic

A friend & I dined at the Beach Cafe last night. We enjoyed every aspect of our evening. Delicious food, presented beautifully, friendly & pleasant wait staff, great view and appreciated the accommodation of a ‘quiet table’. One of our party has voice disorder, asked for ‘quiet on our on-line reservation, which they kindly provided! Will definitely be back❣️??

What happened? You guys closed for Covid; Re-opened late last year and now you’re the $27 cheeseburger restaraunt in town? I’m not sure I see it. Great location, good food, friendly staff but has the hyper-inflation market we're facing changed you’re costs more than most? Maybe update your menu pricing to reflect what you are. Disappointing…

I have dined here a few times and it never disappoints. Most recently, we ordered the pasta, side of garlic fries, and the clams and mussel appetizer and all were very delicious. We ended up ordering bread as well to pair with the clams and mussel, but our waiter forgot about it until we kindly reminded him. Overall, I genuinely enjoy dining here on occasion, but be aware that the menu is a bit on the pricier side and seasonally changes.

Tonight, my husband and I dined at the Beach Cafe with my parents. Both of us couples were married at the Woodmark Hotel (the property that this restaurant is owned by), and we were celebrating a big anniversary for my folks. I looked at the menu in advance and knew that it was far outside my normal price range. We rarely eat out, and when we do, we definitely don't look to spend an average of $40/plate. I was cautious going in due to the prices. Upon arriving, the location is lovely, and obviously sits on a nostalgic property for us. Our server was wonderful and we really enjoyed her. She was very attentive to our table and provided refills without asking, which I loved. As an appetizer, we got the calamari - which was a small portion - even for the $11 price tag, I expected a shareable serving and it barely offered enough for 2. During that time, we also had some drinks, which were enjoyed. For dinner, I ordered the [appetizer menu] Caesar salad with chicken ($12 plus $9 for the chicken). This salad was served as an intact head of romaine on top of a bed of thinly slicked cheese, topped with Parmesan/Pecorino, dressing, and some large crostini style croutons. I am a salad connoisseur, and while it was excellent, i did not feel it was worth $21. I understand the aesthetic of uncut romaine, but the sacrifice was that it was impossible to cut with the blunt butter knife at our table (lol). Furthermore, for an additional $9, I would have liked to receive more than half a chicken breast (I would estimate I received 4-6oz). For $21, I would have liked an entree sized salad, with more chicken. This portion should have been $15, imo. My mom ordered the scallops, on the arugula salad, and seemed pleased, but I can't imagine she felt it was worth over $40. If we hadn't been celebrating, she never would have felt justified in ordering it - pretty as it was. We had bread for the table, which was definitely the best value item we enjoyed. $5 for 3 slices of focaccia, 3 slices of a baguette, and a handful of rosemary crackers. Very good. My husband and stepdad both ordered burgers and they were pleased. I actually felt that $24 for a Waygu burger and truffle fries was somewhat fair, and my husband said it was probably the best burger he'd ever had at a restaurant - so that was a win. Overall - excellent location and service. The food was well prepared and plated - but after testing the food and service, I still struggle with the price point - which will relegate the Beach Cafe to a place I'd only revisit for an occasion.

The place looks so inviting and the food is really appetizing. Went there for late brunch last weekend. The menu is great has lots of food to offer. However, not everything is really that outstanding. I would go for tacos and eggs Benedict, the clam chowder taste really wonderful too. The price is reasonable.

My family and I ended up going for a Thanksgiving dinner to the Beach Cafe and it was phenomenal! They were very friendly with booking us and getting us a table. Loved the environment and the customer service was so good! Everyone kept asking us how the meal tasted and if we were enjoying ourselves. It had a very nice, cozy, homely feel. The three course meal consisted of an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I was pleasantly surprised on all! They definitely left an impression on me. I chose to get the Butternut squash lobster bisque which had crab meat hidden within it. It was full of flavors and delightful. The entree was a pepper crusted prime rib steak with some really tasty mashed potatoes! I haven't ever had peppercorn styled steak but I had no complaints. It was cooked perfectly, very juicy, a great serving portion and overall a 5/5! Lastly, I went for the special Eggnog panna cotta. It came with truffles on the side and was not just a visual splendor but also a dessert I will remember forever! It was not worth missing! My family ordered the chocolate layered cake. I have to say thank you to our hostess because one serving was 12 layered and big enough to fill our entire table. We got to take the other orders of the cakes home. For presentation, atmosphere, customer service, and a wholesome and delectable feel, the Beach Cafe was indeed a very great choice for our Thanksgiving! It was my first visit and I definitely plan to go back!

This restaurant is amazing! I hadn't been to the Beach Cafe for years. Back then it was okay, nothing special. Recently, I read a positive review so gave it another try. What a difference. New menu, decor and wait staff. We celebrated a big birthday there and all of the guests were raving about the food, attentiveness and knowledge of the staff and beautiful surroundings. Because the party was large, the restaurant worked with me to set up the reservation and ensure the accommodations were perfect. They were even able to seat us at a window overlooking Lake Washington which was a treat for our out-of-town guests. I will definitely be going back and look forward to introducing our friends to this restaurant gem.

Family celebration dinner at the newly revamped Beach Cafe! Menu is elevated with incredibly FRESH and high quality options. And the dessert options were so yummy as well! The chef is innovative & the wait staff are so kind.

Beach Cafe was a total WIN for date night. Started and ended with phenomenal service by NETTIE! Ask for her to be your waitress, she is simply the BEST. Great recommendations for food and drink, willingness to please and ensure you enjoy what you ordered. Truly a GEM! We ordered two of the drink specials both excellent. My "Delicioso" margarita was so good! Bacon wrapped jumbo prawns were perfectly cooked. The Ciopino was FILLED with tons of shell fish, the broth was perfection. The highlight was the smoked/baked salmon served with crab mac n cheese. OMG...it was INSANE. So good! Can't wait to go back! Giving Beach Cafe and our experience with Nettie FIVE STARS!!!

I don't understand the bad rap but my partner and I had a delightful dinner this past weekend to celebrate our marriage as we stayed at the Woodmark. We didn't make a reservation but sat in the bar where it was intimate and not busy at all on a Saturday evening. They even gave us champagne to celebrate and it tasted great! We ordered a couple cocktails, bread, a couple entrees, and the huckleberry creme brûlée. Excessive? Yes - but we'll worth the celebration. While it would have been lovely to have a view of the water, it was pouring rain outside so we didn't feel like we were missing much. Jeffrey was our sever and he was awesome. Very nice and gave great recommendations. He was great about providing us updates as it did take a while for our food to come out but we were preoccupied with discussion so this didn't bother us much. The portions are generous so come hungry or be prepared to take food home. The cioppino was hot, flavorful, and had a kick to it; all seafood was cooked to perfection and the roasted bread was perfect for soaking up the soup. The scallops and fish actually reheated nicely the next day as there was plenty to enjoy the night of and the day after. My husband ordered the honey roasted Muscovy duck breast and oh buddy, it was delicious. The beet and bacon concoction beneath the duck itself is smokey, salty, and texturized. The duck was so tender and really reminded me of a past favorite meal I've eaten in Prague. They say food evokes memory and this is a meal we will remember for quite some time. We were so full we almost opted out of dessert but we were curious about the huckleberry crème brûlée. Just order it - don't think twice. There is a berry sauce beneath the crème brûlée and it. Was. So. Good. All in all, we very much enjoyed our dinner and the service at the Beach Cafe and would highly recommend.
