I have been playing there for about 30 years, the highlight is I was involved in a badbeat. I was the person beat the other guy. I had pocket Kings, flop KK8, he had 8 and Ace, then 88 came on the turn and river.

I accidentally landed at the Old Frontier this weekend and had a wonderful experience! The best server staff and even better dealers. Each one just as personable and professional as the next. You could tell they were all a type of family and this vibe seemed to rub off on the patrons who had so much camaraderie. I definitely sensed a warmth here beyond the heaters! This is definitely a place I would take the 3 hour drive again to visit!

Food is good. Only problem is they say breakfast until 12 but if you come in at 1145am for a to go order they will tell you they are no longer serving breakfast. Change your time to 1145am and stop advertising it’s over at 12 if you won’t take breakfast orders at 1145.

The rake is super high. $8 capped out of the pot at $40! Thats insanely high. I played 4/8 and noticed after a couple hours, the dealers had all the chips in front of them. Very hard to beat the game with rake so high. Not sure, if 1/3 is different or if it changes on different days but 4/8 is not worth playing with rake this high.The high hand promotions are good and worth going for, even with the rake so high, but that's about the only reason I'd come here.The dealers are ok. The service is not great. I asked for coffee twice, never got it. Very rarely did they come around to ask for drinks. Not worth the trip for me but if I lived close I'd be there often to try and hit the high hand.

A place I've called home, a place I still love & appreciate. I don't hold much current insight. However, it used to be a well managed, strong working team, about as good as it gets card room. Was one of the best poker rooms in the state. Has had a variety of table games, with liberal rules. Good drinks & decent food! Amazing little club just off the freeway, over the hill in a tiny Washington town. Wonderful it was... hopefully still could be?!?
