I recently visited for the 1st time. I felt the whole establishment was well thought out from the logo to the interior design. The staff were friendly and had a pleasant atmosphere. The only thing thing I would say that I wasn't pleased with was the small metal chairs. I am a plus size women with disabilities. I went to grab a drink and work on a college paper. The only spot I saw ( I could have missed) was 3 small tables with metal chairs next to the outlets. They did have more comfortable seating but 1. I didn't want to take up a table meant for 4 (or more?) people and 2. It was not next to an outlet. I still want to give 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ but just wanted to express this for other disabled, plus size customers looking for a spot to work on their laptops.

The door was a bookshelf so it felt like going into a secret chamber! We got a B&W coffee and a Dirty Diana Chai - they were possibly the best drinks we've ever had. Could be cheaper but definitely worth the price for a treat. The staff were very friendly and helpful, as well.Dietary restrictions: They had multiple alternatives to milk

** Can I work from Ebony & Ivory Coffee for the rest of my life? **OMG. If you haven't gone to Ebony & Ivory Coffee yet...RUN! What an amazing coffee shop. The space is open with plenty of seating but get there early for a seat by the largest screen I have ever seen! There is a grand piano upstairs with seating next to it. There is so much light, you get a gorgeous view of downtown Tacoma. The only thing I wish they had a few real plants. They had a few fake plants, but some real plants would really "liven" the place up.As for the food, we ordered breakfast sandwiches. We got the Cowboy-- so delish! I don't know if their drinks change but it looked like they were having seasonal Valentines drinks, so I snagged the White Chocolate Raspberry Latte with oat milk. I was worried it would be too sweet, but it was heavenly. Not too sweet with just a hint of raspberry. My bf ordered an Americano. He loved it. There is plenty of room to spread out and not have people listening to your conversation. Great place to bring kids. Overall, the food was delicious, ambiance was great, and service was spectacular. Counting down until the next time we go to Ebony & Ivory!

I was so thrilled to stumble across this coffee shop. The atmosphere is so fun and the location is easy to access. I really enjoy the coffee flights and how they update them throughout the holidays. I was super excited to come here however, my mood slightly changed because the employees were not completely inviting. It is also very pricey however, it is a nice treat to have once in a while. I will be back to try different flights.

Claire is the BEST barista I have ever met. She is so kind and sweet and her service and heart for people is amazing! She is great with customers and is so kind! Her coffee skills are even more amazing and I am never disappointed when she makes my coffee!! They also have some good sandwich options that they serve on a cute platter for you!
