Absolutely delicious, reasonably priced food, casual/chill atmosphere. I’m a vegetarian and I got bean and cheese pupusas and cheese and loroco pupusas and a side of curtido. They bring you a bunch of sauces/salsas to eat with them and I couldn’t get enough of each sauce, so good! There’s one that is very thick and bright red that had an awesome, fiery kick to it that was delicious mixed with the other salsas. My husband ordered some classic street tacos and he loved them. We both agreed we will be back soon!Vegetarian options: There weren’t a ton of vegetarian options throughout the menu, but I was most interested in the pupusas and they had multiple vegetarian ones.

I had never been here before, but my friend recommended it. The food is very authentic Salvadoran and yummy. I think one of the dishes was called pupusa. A corn tortilla stuffed with vegetables and cheese or meat. Order at counter. Small but clean space off Lacey Blvd. Blink and you might miss it. Not too pricey. And old fashioned Cokes in bottles. Beer too.

I used to visit them often and loved their pupusas as well as the pollo a la crema. The last 3 times (all a few weeks in between visits) have been truly disappointing and I can no longer support this business. The portion sizes have been significantly reduced while the prices have increased by $4+ on most everything. All of these last visits have also resulted in the food tasting sour, first it was just the coleslaw mix for the pupusas; then the crema was sour with the chicken being rubbery and discolored. I had a terrible stomach ache the last visit and overall solidified I will not be returning. Sadly the only other place I’ve found that is amazing 5 stars is all the way in Bremerton so I’ll have to save my appetite for visits across the bridge now which is disappointing.

The pupusas are delicious however I went in after not ordering from them for a while and they raised their prices on the order of 4 pupusas. I was disappointed to find that the price went up by about $4, and the filling was much less. It was mostly masa with a thin spread of filling. I mean if the price went up at least keep making them with same quality as before.

The waitress is very rude, in the horchata water I found a piece of nail and hair, I showed the waitress which was annoying, she snatched it from my hands, ?the rice is white and super raw, I will definitely not return again ??

Clean, albeit older building, EXCELLENT food and service. They make it fresh to order so if you come while they are slow it might take slightly longer but WELL worth the wait.When I went recently they were smiling and quick to begin my order.I absolutely recommend this little hole in the wall to everyone that will listen.. their whole menu is great but I can't overstate the pupusas. They're AMAZING.
