Thank you Tess! We had an awesome time with great food and excellent service. The spicy tuna roll is a staple, and the 'cry baby' along with the 'panic' rolls are out of bounds! Really well made sushi with just the perfect amount of fresh ginger - cannot beat it!There are many vegan and vegetarian options as well. The import beers are a little pricey, but they are served cold, wet, and delicious.There is parking out front and in the spring you catch the Japanese cherry blossoms blooming.They also have a covered back patio that will open up in April. Which means they will need more help because it is going to be packed.Some of the best sushi I have had - keep it up Kamakura team!!

Best sushi in Thurston County. My partner and I ate a lot of different nagiri. The scallops, tuna, eel were all amazing. Tried one of the vegan rolls and the caterpillar roll as well (we can eat a lot of sushi). Service was quick and friendly. We're out in West Olympia, worth the drive. Will be back.

We took our adult children to Kamakura. They are nuts about Sushi and according to them the Kamakura restaurant is hands down the very best. The Sushi was beautifully prepared and presented. The staff here go way beyond with their customer service to make this a great, memorable meal. We will be back....

My favorite place to eat in Lacey. They have a whole vegan menu and everything I have tried so far has been absolutely wonderful. The service is always perfect and all of the staff members are helpful and kind. Very good sushi and other Japanese food. The sashimi was delicious and the little glass noodle garnish was very novel. Yakisoba noodles were great, plenty of veg and nice fried tofu.

It's a small quaint Japanese restaurant. When you walk in your greeted by a few stuffed animals and some typical Japanese decor. The wait staff are instantly friendly and attentive. Their menu compared to some restaurants is rather small but...... it's worth the visit. The food is prompt and brought out hot and fresh. It's authentic Pad Thai. The sushi is made fresh. The wait staff are friendly and willing to accommodate.The prices are amazing with most dishes being around $15. Fresh sashimi is more but still reasonably priced.Definitely would recommend a visit ?Vegan options available and they also have a vegan menu to make ordering easier.Kid-friendliness: Several families with children and high chairs and kids cups available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and seating.

The staff is pleasant, appears happy and all around great. The food is good. The sushi and avocado bombs are STR8 yummy! The japcgae was good considering you have to pick from shrimp or chicken.
