Ordered basic breakfast. Hash browns were so greasy and hard you could crack them in half as a slab. Food took forever and it was cold. Told waiter the hash browns were greasy and left them there and no discount. Paid $15 for two eggs and two strips of nasty bacon.

I enjoyed myself there. Was just passing through with a few friends and I'm glad we did. The atmosphere was good and the staff were helpful and polite in the casino. The front desk staff however had an attitude and seemed irritated to help you at all. Over all it was a good stay.

It wasn't the food that was the issue it was the service. I remember this place and stopped by. Totally changed when the other businesses went in. Angel was my server and she totally sucked. No refill on coffee, no picking up my bill for payment. Pass this place by unless you got two hours for breakfast.

Restaurant located inside the casino and within an east walk from nearby motel. Due to the current Covid situation. The staff is limited but work hard to make up for those that won't. Meal is worth waiting for. I've eaten here almost every night on a current work trip and haven't had a bad meal as of yet. In the bar area they have a large screen TV going on certain game nights. Menu has plenty of standard choices to choose from. Burgers are great, sandwiches are great and so is the Salmon plank.

The Hawks Prairie casino and Restaurant is an interesting place. It's fairly well designed on the outside. The inside feels a little dated. Things like the pool table have been put away ( however not discreetly) the front door greeter sort of offended my niece, when he asked my wife if the kid had ID. My niece just 21 this past July, said "he could just ask me directly?" Our waitress was great, friendly, each time she stopped by the table I had a sense she might actually like her job! The meals took a long time to come out! A consistent issue with other reviewers here on Yelp. My wife got a salad, my niece got pizza and I got the Mushroom Swiss burger. The burger and fries had a good enough flavor. Probably would get it to go next time. My niece was happy enough with her pizza and my wife seemed to like her salad. All in all a generally pleasant experience, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to go to. But "ok"

Service is horrible! Food was good but it took 40 min from the time we finished our meal before a server returned. She walked by multiple times and we tried to flag her down; pretty sure she saw us multiple times but ignored us. The entire visit to this restaurant was 2hrs and 10 minutes from the time we were seated until we paid. Most of that time was waiting to receive menus, then waiting for our order taken, and finally waiting to pay. I'm really bummed because the food was good but I don't think I will be back.

We've eaten here many many times. A favorite for anytime breakfast and quality food after 9pm. Today was our first not-stellar experience (something wasn't packaged in a great way) and I gave them a call just to let them know the quality on the receiving end wasn't great. I didn't even request a replacement and even said it was fine. The folks on the phone were so understanding and not only did they replace the dish but they comp'ed the meal and offered a casino credit. So far above and beyond - solidified as a top notch place for food AND service.
Rae was our server and she was amazing. Our kid flipped her lid about sharing a box with us and she was sweet and got her a different box for the kids pizza. Very friendly!! Food and drinks were delicious. Prices were great!! A relaxing environment for dinner with the family.

My mistake thinking this was the same restaurant I ate at several years ago and had good service and food as well. When we got there, the place looked different and come to find out, the original Hawks Prairie Restaurant had been sold off for the land it was on. We went in anyway and even though they weren't busy, we were told that they were down to one waitress, that one had just walked out, but another was on the way in so it would be a short wait for a table. The wait was about 10 minutes then we were told to seat ourselves at any table; plenty were available. About 10 minutes later, someone came by and set menus on our table but did not ask if we wanted anything to drink. Another 20 minutes went by without any other interaction with anyone; no apologies, nothing. I told my wife we could go somewhere else and get service faster than if we waited around here. So, we got up and left. It was pretty clear, short-handed or not, that taking care of their patrons was low on their list of priorities.

Food was great, but the waitress seemed to rush us out. Didn't ask if we wanted anything else, just handed us the check. Place was completely empty. We weren't done. Work on your customer service. Won't be back because we didn't feel welcome.

There was a waiting line this day. We entered with my brother (who is in a wheel chair) and sister-in-law. Both security at the door and the server were very attentive to our needs. The food was excellent, and reasonably priced. Quality all the way! THANK YOU.

Salmon was perfectly delicious and the rice pilaf was tasty. The broccoli portion was large and cooked just right. I will definitely stop again I come to town.
