The special was carne asada and it was $28. The same exact meal on regular menu was $27. I told server I'd have the one on regular menu and pointed out the price difference and how strange a "special" cost more. He laughed and said yah that's weird, but there is only 1 button for me to press so it'll be the "special" price, nothing I can do. WTH? The meal was so flavorless (worst carne asada I've ever had) and small portions and outrageous price. When bill came (at the special price of $28) I said you need to tell the mgr this is not right. I wasn't going to make a big deal, but thought it should be mentioned. He asked if I wanted to see manager and tell him myself. I said ok sure. 10 minutes go by and no sighting of manager or server. Will not be going back and Ixtapa "do better, be smarter, lots of competition out there". Oh and brush up on your math skills.

A fast food restaurant posing to be a sit down restaurant. The server didn't listen to a word I requested for dinner. Food appeared as though it was dropped on a plate. I Would much rather drive back to Marysville For A Much better Mexican restaurant experience. Won't be back here again, and wouldn't recommend this establisment to my enemy.

Love the queso dip and the bean dip! Had a girl’s night and the service was friendly as usual, even after we had to switch tables initially. Good food, solid drinks. I had the chicken enchiladas this time and way too many chips…Ooh! And I really enjoyed the raspberry lemon mojito!Parking: Big parking lot out front with plenty of space.Kid-friendliness: This is a family establishment and they are wonderful!

I own an establishment in Lake Stevens. I had a friend visiting from Spokane for the holiday's. We went into Ixtapa for lunch. We were confronted by another customer sitting at the bar. (Buddy) he had been kicked out of my establishment and others in the community. We did not order lunch and requested our tab. I told the bartender if he was staying I was leaving. Another employee said Buddy could have one more. I felt humiliated and unwelcome. The bartender brought me my tab then asked what had happened. I felt this was not handled properly. I just left and don’t feel safe or comfortable with returning.
