Met some friends for a birthday late lunch. I should have realized since they don’t open until 3 there really isn’t lunch-type options. My mistake for sure. We shared several small plates, all of which were tasty. Mac and cheese was delicious, also liked the Karaage chicken. Brussels were good, the halibut was good, but not our fave. The flavors were a bit “unmixed” and every once in a while there was a very spicy bite. Beers and drinks were reasonably priced. I did not notice a happy hour, but we did not sit in the bar, so again probably my mistake-? One friend had a “Hey Ricky” which she really loved and it looked fabulous. One small negative was the music was a bit loud for having a conversation- it seemed to get better later. It was all of our first time here and we will be back.

If you're looking for high-end gourmet food that is always more than delicious in little Lake Stevens Washington LJ's bistro and Bar is the only place to go.They always have extremely good ingredients and menu items to choose from but not overwhelming. Their bar staff serves exotically delicious drinks that have very beautiful presentation. It's a very exciting and fun place to eat and the staff is very friendly. It's awesome to see the kitchen staff at work buzzing around making their what I would like to callFOOD ART.If you're looking for a piece of meat or just a burger it is all absolutely delicious!!!Dietary restrictions: I have some very strict dietary restrictions and LJ's is one of the only places that we can go that doesn't make me sick because they use such great ingredients.Parking: We've always had pretty good luck with grabbing a parking spot even when they're busy but at times it seems like the parking lot is really full and the last time we were there our friends that were with us discovered that if you go straight back and around the back of the building complex there's a whole parking lot in the rear on the west side...

We got the lamb shank and the filet mignon - both delicious. We sat at the bar, great atmosphere and friendly bartenders!
The food was really good, the service was really nice, and overall was a good experience. I got the lamb with a side of mushrooms made with red wine, and let me tell you, the lamb is fell off the bone tender, and the red wine mushrooms were an amazing touch.
