Well it’s not like used to be quality horrible and service just the place with fish and cabina are nice every thing else for the prices they charge don’t recommend, they are insane of charging for dragon roll and no dragon roll on top what a rip off. Who ever manages and owns this place need education in sushi and quality. You won’t see us there any more.

Clean and comfortable quiet& private atmosphere. Sushi fresh and yummy other menu items seemed pre-made and tasteless. Service felt uprupt, ignored and biased- cared for what seemed to be their regulars.

The food was great. Service was still slow. When I asked for things, the waitress looked at me, and it seemed like she didn't want to get the things I asked for. It took a while for someone to bring our check to us.

Waitress was very rude! Walked passed us multiple times to the point another table actually had said something. When she finally did come to our table all she said was okay. Okay what? Not a “Hi, how are you? Are you ready to order?” Just okay. DO NOT EAT HERE! By the way, I didn’t catch her name, but she has short hair with blonde in it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THEM!

Excellent teriyaki and spring rolls with quick service. My family loves when I bring home their takeout.

Don't know if this was an off night for them. Didn't get water or menus for 25 min, ordered a boat set and sashimi had a lot of skin on it, slices were thick and never got the miso that was suppose to come with it. We ordered two more rolls, but never got it. Water was as never filled and had to ask for sake several times. We were there a while, trying to be patient, but this was the worst dining experience.we cancelled the two rolls of sushi and grabbed mochi donut few doors down.

One of the fish smells bad. Service was terrible. No chopstic, no opener. No soy sauce.I will not comeback never.

You're paying more for the ambiance than the food. For the quantity and quality the food was very expensive and lackluster. My husband ordered 2 rolls and it was almost $60. Wait service was also a little underwhelming but that could be due to language barriers since the waitress didn't seem to speak much English. Otherwise the restaurant is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Would recommend for the experience but probably won't go back.

Cute restaurant, nice staff. The rolls are really good and the Black Cod is great.

Servers need to improve their service with a smile and not show that they're unhappy.

Kyoto is a Japanese restaurant located on South Tacoma Way. This was my first time at this restaurant, and it was a pleasant time! When you walk through the glass doors, you walk over a little wooden bridge and wait to be seated by a host. There are booths scattered around, bar seating, and a private dining area. My sister and I were seated at a booth near the front. The ambiance was quite serene and calm. We needed a few minutes to think about what to order, especially since I was undecisive about what I wanted to try here. I ended up ordering the Sake Ju, while my sister ordered the Tempera Udon. Then, we shared the Super Dragon Roll. The Sake Ju had much more rice than salmon, which was a bit upsetting to me. I ordered it because I saw other pictures of people ordering it and it looked really appealing with how much salmon they got. I would not order that again, unless I decided to order sashimi on the side to eat with it. All in all, it was a good experience, and I would consider coming back again to try other items off the menu.

Good food, excellent service and the place is really nice! They have this cute spot where you would be seating down like the traditional seating.

Went for my mother's 60th Bday. The food was very good and the waitress was super quick and friendly. I will definitely be eating there again.
