Out of the 8 drinks we had ordered, just one fell short. The dalgona was pretty much just milk. You could barely taste any coffee. Other than that, the slushes, honeydew milktea as well as all of the taro options they had were amazing. Asian pear smoothies was the star. It was flavorful without being overly sweet. Staff were quick and knowledgeable.

We loved coming here when it first opened but paused for awhile due to poor service. The staff would ignore you to talk amongst themselves or completely mess up the orders. We just started coming back again and the service was better. They also have a new menu so we will be coming back again to try it

Boba was delicious, and was made very quickly. I got the lychee hibiscus tea with lychee jelly and my boyfriend got the strawberry milk and we both really enjoyed our drinks. I had some of his and the strawberry jam tastes really fresh.

Really great staff and mid size selection for drinks, which in my opinion is a lot easier to manage, versus other boba shops that have an overload of menu items that make me feel overwhelmed with choices. Very clean environment and staff is friendly and engaging.Wheelchair accessibility: Right off the side walk is the main door, all one level flooring.
I tried the mango hibiscus tea without ice and they water it down so much that I couldn't taste the mango or the tea. (At least 50% of it was water) I wish they would have told me that it's what they do when you order a drink without ice. ?

My fiancé and I used to frequent this place often (we've since moved), and it is one, if not, THE best boba in the Tacoma area.Employees are always happy to serve you. Never once had a "bad experience" with one of their boba-ristas. They're nice people to talk to and they get your drinks out within minutes of you ordering. I remember one time the girl asked where my hoodie was from and we had a whole conversation about good hoodies! I cannot remember her name, but her customer service skills were through the roof amazing!The tapioca pearls here are really soft, so depending on how YOU like it, it may not be for you, but to me, they're perfect! And they're sweetened! A lot of places just boil in water, so there's no flavor to the pearls, but here it seems like they sweeten them. I could go on and on about minor details, but here's a big one that I appreciate, THEY HAVE OAT MILK. They can make drinks with oat milk! Although some of their drinks cannot be made completely dairy free, the option to lessen the dairy/lactose intake is always a plus in my book.The prices are really good, they know their worth and stick by it! Not crazy expensive, like some other shops I know, but well worth every penny spent. I have to admire their military discount though. As my fiance and I are both military, it's nice to get a buck or two off boba!Overall, I recommend this place to everyone driving by the Tacoma area, although parking is limited, it's well worth the steps from car to door! And when we do find ourselves in the area, we make the trip here because it's one of my favorite boba spots. As my folks live up in North Washington, the drive to the shop is an hour+, but I'm willing to make the time for this place.My usual: Ube Latte with oat milk and bobaMy fiancé's usual: Blueberry milk tea with bobaDietary restrictions: They have oat milk, but some drinks cannot be made completely dairy free.

I am hesitant to say it but this might be the best boba shop in Tacoma. My biggest problem with other boba shops is how sweet they make the drinks. At Sol Boba, you can actually taste the flavors and ingredients they put into their boba and it tastes so good!! My personal favorite is the Tiramisu! The staff is always friendly, the interior is well designed, and the owners are local! With all the different chains coming into the Tacoma area, it's nice to support a local business.
