While the food was delicious (we had a clam pizza) the wait time was outrageous! We waited an hour for our food, serving ourselves outside where we dined. There was earth day celebrations apparently, but we had no idea that accounted for the slow service on a Saturday afternoon. The staff should have been better prepared for the rush. As for the food, it really hit the spot once we finally got it.

Stopped in for a drink and a pizza. Cute atmosphere and attentive wait staff. The place was busy as it was a Saturday evening. Placed our order and waited a short time for the pizza to be delivered to our space. It was made incorrectly, but it was still good. We picked off the olives and ate the food. Much to our surprise, the waitress had a second pizza made and GAVE it to us to eat later. That is customer service that was completely unexpected. I would return even if this had not happened. The pizza was delicious and the service was outstanding.

Our experience at this Pizza left much to be desired, largely due to its location and operational policies. Upon arrival, we found the place bustling with no available seating. Despite being asked to wait for half an hour, we decided to place our food order in advance, a process that would supposedly take 25 minutes. However, upon our return, we were informed that due to ordering in advance, we could only take our food to go.Disappointed, we took our pizza to the car, only to find that the taste left much to be desired. The crust resembled cardboard, lacking the savory flavor one expects from a quality pizza. It's baffling how this establishment garners favorable reviews; perhaps patrons are drawn more to the novelty of watching pizza being made rather than the actual taste.Overall, this Pizza place failed to impress, and it's unlikely we'll be returning anytime soon.

For some reason their pizza has really gone down hill. It was greasy and toppings were scace. No deep dish anymore either. Won't be going back anymore.

Everytime we go Langley...this is a must visit place for us
I'm not much of a foodie nor could I be considered a connoisseur, except when it comes to pizza.Naturally, everyone has a different palate, but I think Village Pizzeria has the best pizza in the region, at least the best I've had. The crust isn't too thick or too thin and it has a nice crunch to it. They don't over-do the tomato sauce and they use just the right amount of cheese. A great house salad too. The dressing is super tasty.Contrary to a few reviews here, I've eaten here for many years and find the service excellent most of the time. Let's face it, no one bats 1,000., but I always leave happy. And the view can't be beat, looking out on the water. In short, one of the many reasons I love living on Whidbey Island is because of Village Pizzeria.

View is good, food is bad. We shared pizza for 3 of us and we had heavy bellies all day. Also olive oil doesn’t taste like olive oil (I had to ask if it was indeed olive oil), they probably use cheap processed olive oil. They have only a few tables for families with kids, the rest is considered a bar. So we had to wait for an hour.

would steer clear of village pizzeria in Langley .First full shift I worked was tense as the guy training me kept muttering comments about me being his replacement .Other staff members were making me aware of why they were letting said employee go.Wasn’t ideal to walk into drama from start to finish of my first shift.I didn’t take this as a red flag because I’ve seen ALOT in the restaurant industry.I made sure to have my hours confirmed with payroll and was STILL SHORTED 173 untaxed dollars out of my gross pay.I called the owners son who hired me and was asked “you’re hitting me up over a hundred dollars at 8 am” .Well unfortunately my daddy doesn’t own a pizzeria so 100 dollars to me isn’t exactly pocket change. He ended up getting real hostile and verbally threatening . Another pay cycle has passed and that 173 bucks is gone with the wind .
