We were joined by friends who had recommended Fujiyama for our anniversary. Our first time and definitely not our last. Our chef was excellent and the food he prepared was equally as good.

Every detail in this restaurant stood out. The decor, the calm atmosphere, the wonderful wait staff. The food was incredible!! Over the top of I must say. The selection of rolls here was refreshing. I enjoyed reading my favorite ingredients already paired in perfectly made rolls. The Hamchi Kama was the best I've ever had. My mouth still salivates for the Ponzu dipping sauce. I was dipping my fingers into the bowl in order to grab out the small flakes of fish that had been trapped at the bottom. Next time I'll be sampling more of the menu. I'll keep all you posted.

Had a great time with family and friends for a birthday party. Nice bar for when you are waiting for the whole party to arrive. Good food and good times.

Good food. SLOW, SLOW service. Have eaten on both sides (restaurant & hibachi grill). Hibachi grill side: obviously the food made right in front of you is timely, but any food you order other than that / any drinks you get (including water) will take a long, long time to arrive. My table’s water didn’t get filled once, even though we kindly asked the server a couple of times to refill it. Also I dropped my fork and needed a new one (no chopsticks or extra utensils on the table), asked the server to bring me some but it never arrived. So much time passed, and I didn’t want my food to get too cold, I had to get up and asked someone else for a fork.Restaurant side: 2 of us ordered hibachi, 1 ordered sushi. The sushi order arrived after the 2 of us finished our hibachi and arrived with the bill. Again, water was never filled. Slow, slow service. Good food!

To the owners… Today 3/20/2024, I received the worst customer service ever. I eat here two to three times per week. (The gal that serves me is absolutely incredible, I don’t want this to reflect on her.) But the gentleman that didn’t even attempt to serve me today was absolutely rude. I walked in at 2pm, like normal, to get my lunch special. I was greeted with “I’m not taking any more seats right now” with a half empty bar I might add. I know this is false because I do this weekly. The follow up excuse was “I am too backed up right now” …astonished I look around and it was less busy than normal when I walk in. “It will be awhile, I’m just too backed up.” I wait ten more minutes with no comment, like I’m not even sitting at the bar. I order the same two rolls, eat my soup, have my water and leave.. It’s so simple.. this experience has left such a sour taste in my mouth that I will no longer eat here if I see him behind the bar. I don’t care if you’re busy, customer service is your job and it goes a long way. This wasn’t it.

Fujiyama Steak House and Bar transformed my son's birthday celebration into an unforgettable culinary extravaganza! The sizzle of the grill, the tantalizing aroma of perfectly seasoned meats, and the lively antics of the chefs made for an evening packed with flavor and fun. From the mouthwatering steaks to the delightful shrimp and the mesmerizing knife skills, every moment was a delicious adventure. The atmosphere was electric, the service impeccable, and the food, simply divine. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience! If you're looking for a place to indulge in top-notch teppanyaki and create lasting memories, Fujiyama Steak House and Bar is the place to be. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment! Chef makes it fun for kids!

My significant other and I recently dined at Fujiyama and indulged in their hibachi for two, featuring Filet Mignon and scallops. The food was undeniably very good, showcasing the mastery of their culinary craft. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our server managed to be kind and attentive to our needs, making our dining experience enjoyable. However, it was apparent that the restaurant was extremely busy, impacting the overall service quality. Additionally, I couldn't help but notice that the ambiance could use some updating. The dim lighting and clashing colors within the space detracted from the dining experience.Compared to my previous visit four years ago, I observed a slight decrease in both service and quantity of food. Nevertheless, the meal was still enjoyable, especially with the addition of their delectable yum yum sauce. In summary, while there were some areas for improvement noted, Fujiyama still offers a pretty yummy dining experience for two, particularly in the cozy intimacy of the bar area, where disruptions from fellow customers are minimal.

The food and the hibachi chef were amazing. Only reason I’m giving it two stars is because a server brought our drinks out to the wrong table and handed out mine before someone at my party stopped him and corrected him. We’d already been waiting like 20 min for our drinks, so everyone in my group gets their drinks and I’m waiting another 35 min for mine. We were asking for boxes by the time I got my drink and I just kept being assure it was on its way then when I finally got it it wasn’t even what I ordered ??‍♀️ I’ve been in this industry over 10 years and the fact a manager didn’t even come and apologize or offer a discount is crazy! I still paid $12 for it cuz it was so strong I at least got a buzz but damn. I’d go again for the food but I’ll stick with water next time.

We've been to Fujiyama in Liberty Lake a few times. We've never left a review, because we were "meh" about it. It wasn't bad, but wasn't the best. At the previous visits, the sashimi didn't start off great and hospitality was subpar (small portions, fishy, bartender saying a particular drink was gross, trying to talk me out of it, and no calamari) Today... it was stellar!!! (And there was yet again, no calamari, haha)It was the busiest it ever was on our previous visits in the 1 oclock hour. The bar was full and only had one server Laura. There was a table of needy entitled people that (by us listening to their own admission) had started in the restaurant, moved to the bar, then wanted back to the restaurant as the server came out with their huge hot tray of food. She maintained her composure (while remaining assertive stating why she could not put a chair at the end of the booth). We were worried, based on our previous mediocre customer service experiences, this was going to be another "regular" day at Fujiyama. We were wrong. Laura was amazing. Yup, out of calamari, but she instantly had recommendations, and why she liked them. She was professional, attentive, not just to us but customer spills at a table, and dish or glassware being dropped at the bar. She was quick to take charge of the situation, but immediately came back to us.Our sashimi (appetizer and bluefin) was the best it has ever been here: flavor, texture, smell, and portion. The avocado was firm in my philly. The jalapeňo margarita was great, and my jade slipper was made better than when it was on the seasonal menu. The IPA Laura recommended was approved by my anti IPA hubby. Again, the fish was better, but Laura got you a 5 star rating today, where as before it would have been a 3... 4 for food and 2 for hospitality.... both were 5s today. Be more like Laura and whoever was in charge of the sashimi!!!

This is my boyfriend and I's favorite place to get away and have a good time. The food is delicious, we can piece together different types of sushi rolls, and wait staff service is top tier. There are many different atmospheres and although we prefer to dine in the bar, the sushi bar and Hibachi are great too! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Japanese Steakhouse!

First time going here and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was fun and watching the kids expressions was honestly the best part of it. The chefs were so fun and exciting and I just loved it. I didn't know the Spokane Area had something fun like this. The good was great and tje service was amazing and I will definitely be telling others about this place. Thank you for a great experience!

Food was great! Chef was awesome and really fun. Waitress seemed like she had better things to do, but a lovely young blonde woman (didn't get her name) picked up the slack quite well. Atmosphere is good but not "prom" night special.Wheelchair accessibility: No issues at all for manual chairs. Not a lot of handicapped parking spots though.
