We are visiting and stopped on a whim. The flavor was great. Very authentic. The Baria was fantastic! The carne asada was very tough. I could not cut it with the table knife and could barely chew it. There are only a few tables to sit at, a lot of people were ordering take out. The Easter themed Christmas tree was super cute.

Literally amazing! I am so obsessed with the quesabirria. The perfect amount of spicy. I highly recommend Monarca. I have had burritos, quesadillas, tacos and birria pizza as well from here. Everything is incredible.
My new favorite restaurant! Their meat is incredibly flavorful and the young man at the counter was extremely polite and helpful.

After hearing my coworkers and neighbors rave about Monarca, I decided to give it a try….& I am SO glad I did!!!I ordered the azada super burrito & got 2 tacos. The burrito…is my favorite burrito I’ve ever had in Longview. It was perfect.I got an azada taco and a spicy pork taco. Both meats were juicy and flavorful, I like the pork the best. I have a feeling a will be a regular customer here from now on!

Our family came here for lunch on 6/11/23. I went in to use the bathroom and immediately noticed that someone had crapped and plugged up the toilet. When I flushed it, the water raised and swirled around the rim of the toilet bowl. There was also no toilet paper or soap to wash your hands, and the garbage can was overflowing. Mind you, this was about 12:30pm on a Sunday, and we were the only ones there. I went up to the front to ask if there was a different bathroom that I could use and explained the situation. Apparently this was the only bathroom on site… and during the hour that my family and I were there, NO ONE came to unplug the toilet, replenish TP or clean up the bathroom. Seems like a huge health code violation, as well as just being disgusting. We will not be returning.
