Who makes the world's BEST fried chicken sandwich?The Loon Lake Saloon & Grill is the winner, by FAR!!!Served on a toasted hoagie roll, the fried chicken is superbly seasoned, fried, tender, and juicy. It comes with some excellent smoky bacon, and the overall taste is just outrageously awesome.If you're in Loon Lake, we highly recommend this little hole-in-the-wall bar, and ANY of it's food (tacos, burgers, Ruben sandwich, etc), but especially the chicken sandwich.“

“One of the last reminders of the town’s hay day as a brick producer. There is supposedly a large wall painting of “Ghost Riders in Sky”by one of the old local artists turned famous behind the wood in the bar. The owners are great and exactly how you’d expect them to be. Stop by and have a beer or two on your way through....“

“Moved to the east side 3 years ago. I had way more choices where I came from but none come close to the care taken with each menu item to the friendliness of the staff and the other patrons. I’ve always felt like this is home . Dan and Lacey are both amazing and the food is the best within 40 miles period. Not a dive bar but a destination.“
