We just dropped by after Eagle watch. The staff was so kind and friendly, she explained each of our tastings in such a personable and detailed way. Their wines are so delicious. We will definitely be back to visit again!Photograph by Yu-Min, Su (Instagram @charliesu_yms)

Our big family and friends group visited this wonderful winery for the first time yesterday and had just a fantastic experience overall. Matt was an incredible wine expert and explained each of our tastings in such a personable and detailed way. The cozy room with a perfect set up for a large group made it that much more delightful. Jana, who helped us all with our purchases at the end was also incredibly hospitable. These two made our visit so enjoyable along with the delicious wines. As this is an annual trip, we will definitely be back to visit again next year!Melissa

We started with a shared tasting and a Greek plate, moved to two glasses and left with several bottles to share with friends. That good. And the setting is a great place to while away an afternoon.

Great tasting in a beautiful location! Good variety with some bubbles and orange wine too. They're getting a location in Lyle closer to the river soon which I'm so excited about - will be even easier to visit! Each tasting waived with a bottle purchase, so we were excited to take home 2 and do a tasting for a reasonable price. The sparkling Pet-Nat was super special and the service was fantastic. They do accommodate walk-ins, so worth visiting even if you don't have a rez!

It is a bit of a drive to find this winery but the work is worth the effort. The wine is outstanding, the vibe awesome, and the food excellent.

Love this family owned Columbia Gorge winery! Very sweet tasting room with outdoor seating with vineyard views! Their wines are delicious and the staff warm and friendly! Make sure to add this to your itinerary when you're in the Gorge!

What wasn't there to not like? Fantastic wines, great conversations with the wine maker, and a cozy wine tasting room. This is the wonderful wine tasting experience you do not get when you just stick around town. Seriously, every wine we tasted was delicious and crafted with care. My partners and I loved each one of the taste offerings and walked away with several bottles. We are a red wine crowd and highly recommend any of their reds (how's that!). It is rare that you go to a winery and love all their offerings. We walked away with several bottles and a wonderful experience. If you are visiting, you absolutely need to make a trip out to this location. Beautiful scenery, beautiful wines.

Amazing, lovely winery. Great recommendations and very homey, comfortable setting. Love that it is organic and ecology-minded as an aesthetician choice. Beautiful!

Such a beautiful, quaint winery. Loved the wine flight and service was impeccable. We had the great fortune of having the wine owner's son join us and talk about life-wise human for 10 years old. This winery was an absolutely delightful experience and we can't wait to go back. We highly recommend making a reservation; you won't be disappointed. Sierra was a great tasting room hostess. The owner, Juliet, was so down to earth...we'd love to go back and "talk shop" about the wines!

We called from a different winery the day of and Sara was able to get our party of 3 a spot within the hour! It’s a short drive across the toll bridge from Hood River to a cute house with several options for seating. The $25 tasting included 1 white and 4 reds, all of which were very very good. We enjoyed each selection and felt extra spoiled as the winemaker and his wife popped by to give us details about the different wines. We took our time with the tasting while enjoying the view and decided to purchase 3 bottles on our way out.Despite the 3 bottle purchase ($110), we still got charged for 2 tastings ($50 additional). It was stated on the menu that 3 bottles = 1 tasting but when each bottle is more than a tasting it feels a bit petty to still have to pay for the tastings. The high price tag left a slightly sour taste in our mouths but luckily the yummy wine overtook it and we’ll look forward to enjoying our bottles at home soon.

Quaint winery in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Sitting outside in the covered seating area, sipping wine while listening to the rain on a fall day was everything. Sunshine the cat kept us entertained and joined us on the couch by the fire. Known for French style Rhone wines, we tasted two then I opted for a glass of Fleur De Lyle, a cab syrah blend made with local grapes that had hints of cherry, caramel and cacao. nice to drink on its own or with a meal. Friends purchased a bottle of the Mourvèdre and Fleur De Lyle while I chose the Katydid, a bolder blend With a peppery back note. The ride to the winery is so beautiful and I enjoyed every minute of the scenery, the sun and rain dancing on the hills creating so many deviations of color within a single pallette. Deer were everywhere and several fields full of cattle, too.
