Our hotel was a couple blocks away from this place. We just recently started eating Indian food and I wanted to try out this place based on the reviews. We got it to go as we had just gotten into town and wanted to eat it at the hotel. Pay no mind to the styrofoam bowls and plastic cutlery, it’s what our hotel had handy to use. My husband got the butter chicken and I got the goat Rogan Josh. I love that they had goat available. We also got an order of bullet naan to split. The food was piping hot and plenty. We had enough to eat the next day for breakfast. This place gets bonus points for having goat on the menu! It was delicious as other reviews have said. With the construction, we drove there instead of walked. I noticed the sign said under new management but we are not local so we don’t know what it was like with the old management. If you like Indian food this place is worth a try!

Authentic Indian curries. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food - we went with fairly low expectations but were delighted at the quality and taste of the food.

My sister asked for this restaurant for her birthday. We did takeout for 10 and it was amazing. The food was ready on time and didn't miss anything in our order. We have now found our go-to Indian restaurant and look forward to eating in person next time. We ordered so many dishes, I can't even begin to list them, but they were all extremely tasty.

Solid Indian buffet for lunch. $16.99 and all you can eat. Simple but good and just what I wanted. I find that buffets are much less common post pandemic and some of my fav Indian places don't do them any more. Was glad to find they do here. The naan was fresh and hot, often a miss at buffets. Had some good vegetarian options... a dal dish and aloo mutter. The only dishes with lentils and peas that I like. I love their chutneys as well, the mint and I think tamarind (hope that's right) I loved the paneer dish, I think it was paneer tika masala, if not it was similar. A mildly, but elegantly spiced creamy curry. I had seconds. Tandoori chicken was good, too. Server wasn't particularly warm, but not rude. He was very active keeping waters filled and dirty plates cleared. It was casual and comfortable. I will be back for sure.Vegetarian options: Indian in general is vegetarian option heavy, in my experience, but, of the 6 mains served at the lunch buffet 3 were vegetarian. One of them was paneer so not vegan, but, I suspect the other two were.Parking: 6 or so spots in front, I believe there was more in back, but, I am not sure.

Great tasting Indian food. The server Garry was attentive and welcoming. Their buffet is 11-3. I’ll come back hands down.

They are under new ownership as of 5 months ago - very nice man. The food and options were stellar! Generous portions. Rice is complimentary with entrees, the naan’s are huge portions. One order is enough for a table of 4. The samosas, rice & entrees all very good. There is a buffet which we didn’t do. As vegetarians - we were thrilled to see two whole pages of vegetarian options. The service was great. It was pretty quiet - we went around 2pm on a Saturday. The new owner man said a lot of people have been nervous to come due to the previous ownership and unimpressive experiences. Please come and give this place a try! It’s great, affordable and you will look forward to your leftovers later! The only thing I would like to see improved is the interior decor and etc but I’m sure they’re gonna need more business first before they can do that. ☺️Vegetarian options: Two whole pages of vegetarian options, meat options only one page.

We really love the food here and return frequently. They've even brought the buffet back. Both the exterior and interior can use a major update, but don't let that dissuade you from giving it a

My first time at Cafe India was delightful.I needed a tutorial on the menu. Our waiter was most helpful answering all my questions.I knew I wanted the garlic naan after I saw the photo on the website but had no idea what else to try. I ordered the mutter paneer. It was delicious mildly spiced as topping on the rice or on pieces of naan.Going back to try another dish.

New management as of Sept 15th. Blasé and slowww service, underwhelming food. Had been looking forward to starting off with the tomato and khucumber (that’s how they spelled it) salad with tasty tamarind sauce the old place made. Decided to order something called an Indian salad. $8 for a random assembly of tomatoes, cucumbers, really hot (spice) red onions, and some type of green pepper. No tamarind sauce, or any sauce. Looked like it could have been assembled from the compost container. The entree (some lamb thing) was edible, but that’s about all I can say about it. No sweet lassi - only mango - and I’m sure it came out of a can or some other pre-mix.Time to find another spot. But hey, at least you can drink beer and wine there now.

Very disappointed. Service was slow, and the food was not good. The tandoori chicken was very very dry and tasteless. Letting the waitress know was a waste of time. I will never go here again.

I had the worst experience at cafe India today. I ordered on Uber eats and a wrong order was delivered. Called the restaurant to change and they asked me to take it back or pay for delivery fee? Like was it my mistake that you sent me a wrong order???
