We had a party of 6 and were celebrating an anniversary and birthday. We were seated fairly quickly. Our server Darion ( I think) was very friendly. He took our drink orders. Drinks came quickly. They were brought by a different person. It was an African American lady who was not very nice. She basically plopped the drinks on the table and left. Darion came shortly after to take our orders. Our salads came in a timely manner. We ate those and then waited and waited and waited for our dinners to arrive. We thought we were forgotten. Our meals finally came except for one. We waited even longer for that one. When it finally made it to the table it was missing it's garlic bread. The food was delicious. The manager ( I think) came and apologized for how late our meals were and said that when we order dessert it would be on the house and to let our server know. That was awesome, however Darion came over and said all he could do was give us the chocolate cake on the house. None of us wanted the chocolate cake so the free dessert wasn't really a compensation. He brought one piece of cake for all 6 of us to share. We were disappointed. I used the ladies room while I was there and there are 4 stalls and 2 of them were unoccupied but locked so they couldn't be used. There were two others open and one was completely out of toilet paper. The bathroom was filthy and run down. For how nice the actual restaurant is and for the prices that are being charged you would think that some effort would be put into some bathroom upkeep. Not sure we will return.

We made a 5:30 dinner reservation shows up at 5:25 checked in and a 5:45 we left horrible front desk workers several crying babies many folks complaining That they ordered and never got their food Totally unprepared so we just left

I made the reservation for 1. Showed up and asked for a quiet table, was told to sit at the bar. Server was nice. Food: Ribs were good, two sides were COLD! Mac and cheese and fries were cold. Had to ask for new sides. Kitchen staff obviously knew the fries were cold and the Mac and cheese was barely microwaved. Disappointing

Food was fairly good. Miss the yuuumy bread that they used to have. The hostess couldn't seem to get our name right, even though we gave it to her a couple times. However, our server was really good. Food took a little longer then it should have to arrive. And, I guess they no longer take AARP discounts, which was a little disappointing.

I came here because I saw this on the desert menu. I was not disappointed. I brought me back to the times when Chilli's use to have different flavor Molten cakes. I will be back. I would have given 5 stars but I tried to set at the bar and there was no bartender insight so after 5 mins of waiting I got up an asked for a table instead and was sat immediately.

Our server was great! For some unknown reason my son's filet came out early, even before our appetizer, about 15 minutes before any of the rest of his entree or any of our entrees. Then my loaded backed potato came out and it was basically the skin of half of a potato with super liquidy mashed potatoes on top with an extreme amount of butter, sour cream and liquid cheese. I don't know what the problem was this time, I've never had an experience like that here. Very disappointing

I hadn't been to Claim Jumper in a while, so I decided to go today. It was not busy. The atmosphere was pleasant. I sat in the empty bar area. The bartender was friendly, and the service quick. I decided to try the new Lobster BLT. It was pretty good. The bread was grilled and very greasy and not crispy. The bacon wasn't crispy either but had a good flavor. There was a generous portion of lobster, but had I not known it had lobster on it, I would have never guessed as there wasn't a strong 'lobster' taste. But then without drawn butter, there isn't too much taste to lobster anyway. In any case, I didn't see much point to the lobster being on the BLT, but the sandwich was still enjoyable. The fruit compote was as expected. I decided to have a slice of carrot cake for dessert. I am a huge fan of carrot cake, and I have had some good ones over the years (I still fantasize about one place in Bremerton that is no longer there). I have always stuck with the notion that even bad carrot cake is better than no carrot cake. I no longer have that stance. While the image makes it look like the carrot cake was good, it is misleading. The cake was the driest cake I have ever had. I could feel the moisture leaving my body with every bite. The walnuts in the cake on the other hand where the highlight, large and full of flavor, unlike the cake, which had I think possibly a negative flavor, if that's even possible. The cream cheese frosting was ok, but there was a little too much lemon in it (you could actually taste the lemon, or the cream cheese had turned, not sure which). In my whole life, this is the first time I can remember not finishing a slice of carrot cake. In any case, it was still a good lunch with fast and friendly service, so it was a win.

Claim Jumper has gone through some changes over the last few years. Can't really say it's for the better. The menu has shrunken , some of the food has changed and they no longer honor Landrys Select membership, to name a couple of changes. You still get the busy weekends, (reservations recommended) the unique atmosphere, and some of thier iconic offerings. The menu has been reduced probably as a cost saving mechanism. Used to really like their fresh lemonade but now it's just sugary Coke brand. The cheesecake is amazing so do try it. Service is usually decent. Sitting near the prep area and kitchen is loud so try to avoid. They have an outside Sitting area by the bar which is nice. Overall, not what it used to be, but still ok for a visit once in awhile.

We went to the bar for drinks and appetizers, the mostly empty bar and dining area should be a sign that something is wrong! It was NFL pre season day and the bar is empty despite the big screen tvs . We ordered appetizers, the food was very mediocre. I got a club sandwich which didn't taste fresh and it came with the tiny shoestring fries that are not good. Why did the fries go from being steak fries to shoestring fries, I'm not a fan. The happy hour menu is very limited now and not much selection. The owner needs to figure out why this place is mostly empty on weekends, the rent and wages must be expensive, how do you stay afloat with mediocre food and few customers? Boring atmosphere high prices!

The steaks were amazing. The asparagus was significantly over cooked. The bourbon selection was also top notch. However, they did not offer “the perfect ice cube” or the square bourbon glass as the menu suggested. Small ice cubes immediately water down the quality of a bourbon making it difficult to enjoy at $22 per drink. That was a huge bummer considering they had such a high-quality bourbon selection on hand. On another note, the waiter was wonderful by being so enthusiastic and attentive.

I invited my Daughter & her Husband along with their Daughter. None of them had ever eaten at Claim Jumpers. It is my absolute favorite restaurant!!! We all enjoyed our food, the service was great and can't wait to return!! The only issue we had was how hot it was inside due to air conditioning failure. In Washington state we seldom have days over 80*, but this particular day it was 91*. ?

Good sized portions. I had the Asian Chicken Salad and it was delicious. It came with some cheese bread which was also delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. This restaurant is very large and there was plenty of room. I like the spacious booth seating.

Had to leave 2 minutes after we ordered our food. Whoever the waitress was in the bar at 7 on 7/20 made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We sat at the cleanest table we could find and the bartender took our order (he was nice). But the woman was sloppily stomping around and yelling and COUGHING into the air. She never even attempted to cover her mouth. She coughed into the air with her hands behind her every 25 seconds, it was truly awful. Then she went to the back and played with another staff member. They were blowing on eachother all over the dishes. It was enough to make us leave while waiting for our order and we were starving. Not trying to mean, just honest it was the worst experience ever.

If you wants some comfort food this is where it's at. Enjoyed the house salad with Balsamic vinaigrette and finished off with a slice of motherlide cake which I promptly shared with the table and still barely got through half. Overall good spot, and good service, however giving 4 star cause we had to wait for a table and the wait a little longer than I would have liked for our food.

I've eaten here 8+ times. Dine in is 2.5 Star ; Order for Pickup/Delivery = 1 STARS. The last 3 times I've ordered to-go from this place, they've either forgotten items, gave me over-cooked, over-baked, dry, or soggy food. I've had missing items twice in a row now, and the 'To-Go' food is nothing like the dine-in quality. It's as if they treat outgoing orders completely separate from dine-in orders. Dine-in orders: expect to be there 1Hr plus; expect to hear their own staff complain on how they are new and overworked. The waiter we had was not only working the bar, but many other tables. The waitresses apologized stating they just threw her onto the floor; she stated she was overwhelmed... we inquired about her manager; the waitress had words to say... The food is hardly worth the headache you have to go through to get it... and if you get food, you'll be lucky to receive quality food. The food is a hit or miss. I had a great few experiences here, so I kept giving it another chance. However, This was my last time eating at this restaurant. I've had much more negative experiences here than good. You are better off going to an alternate restaurant.
