After shopping at Alderwood mall on a rainy Saturday afternoon, I looked up a few pho spots within the area and came across Pho 36. I was a little hesitant to give the place a try at first as I have a favorite pho spot further south (on my way home) but am so happy I gave this place a chance. The place had a few tables, and the workers seemed quite busy but I was greeted warmly and seated quickly. The place was noticeably clean too. I ordered the vegetable and fried tofu pho with beef broth and a side of egg rolls. To my delight, they gave me 4 eggs for $8. The broth was some of the best savory broth I've ever had and there was an assortment of vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, mushrooms, carrots, green onion) unlike other places that only give you carrots and broccoli. This place has 5 stars in my book and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

Walking into Pho 36 Restaurant Vietnamese Cuisine, I was immediately enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that promised a memorable dining experience. And it didn't disappoint! The best pho I've ever had. And I've had a lot of pho. There's so much meat. The meat lasts until I'm done with the pho and able to have meat with every bite. It's my go to place now. I'll never go anywhere else!

Ordered takeout. Chicken dish, 2 pho's and paper roll. Everything tasted really good, the STAR of the order though was the paper roll! Omgg the softest, freshest paper rolls I've everrr had at a restaurant!! So soft and everything was well portioned. Oftentimes restaurants will have hard wrappers where you can tell it just came outta the fridge or there's so much lettuce to fill the roll. This one was excellent! I definitely recommend this place!

I’ve been a costumer 9+ years on my last visit me and my family received a very disrespectful, arrogant and discriminatory comments and service from one of the waiters . It’s has been a humiliating experience.

Pho was ok, lack spices and seasoning, portion was ok. Banh canh cua was sad, 1 tiny piece of crab, not much else. The waiter guy was rude. Definitely not 4 stars here, won't be back.

I was shopping in the area and decided to get some banh mi. Pho 36 was closest to me. Should he have driven further. Not a very good banh mi. I've never had one worn lettuce, shredded carrots, and hardly any cucumber. The pickled daikons and carrots are essential to me. Wil not to here for banh mi again.Service was ok, no refilled on water but could not finished sandwich anyway.
