We went in later in the evening and the service was wonderful - the Korean fried chicken was amazing and the sullungtang was good. Definitely recommend!

I like to support local and I’m at least glad they survived the pandemic but…Food was very overpriced. The picture attached is what $70 got you. The meat portions were tiny. We got 13 pieces at most. The pancakes tasted terrible without the sauce. The soup was good for maybe one person? It’s just a little larger than a regular serving bowl.First and last time here for sure. I felt robbed on my way out. Service was also slow but food at least came out reasonable.

I was looking for a spot along my way home from work last week when I found Todamgol! They told me the wait would be around 40 minutes, which I was okay with so I could do some errands. When I showed up 50 minutes later, I still waited around for another 20 minutes. They were serving one large party at the time, and they seemed to be short staffed so I just sat to the side no problem. The staff is very friendly and I think this place has a nice atmosphere. It feels very homey and both the cashier/waitress and busser kept me updated with my order and tried to offer different areas to sit as more parties came in. The waitress even asked me what my favorite side dishes were and loaded up my box with my favs!I'm giving 3 stars because although I think it is a fair price (I usually pay the same at other restaurants for my usual order), I did not get any rice and I felt the rice cake from my rabokki had a heavy powdery texture and tasted very ketchupy. I had gone through an exhausting day at work so I was a bit disappointed by the extra long wait and lack of rice. Kalbi and soon do boo that I got though were pretty good! I'd be willing to try this place again because it was just bad timing. But I wanted to say thank you to the staff that made me feel at home even though they were super busy with a large group and eventually more parties that came in!

Not coming back again. The lady in the front is rude and unkind. The attitude to the customer needs to be learned. She keeps pushing the customer to order more even though we said no. We say thank you when we left but the lady didn't say anything because we didn't order what she toldThe amount of food is ridiculously small compared to the price. The quality of foos is terrible. Don't waste your money

I ordered the pork fried rice, it was OK but not great. With tax and a glass of water it was $22 which is a little high for fried rice.

Recommend BBQ beef. It tested like the honey bbq beef I have had in Macau and Hongkong.Besides, the restaurant is clean, quiet, and staffs are kind. Will come to eat again.

Spur of the moment choice while out running errands. I had never been, my wife has. Mid-day Sat visit on holiday weekend, we're the only customers here. Service is friendly and timely, place is clean, food very tasty. Beef Bulgogi was hot and seasoned well, here pork belly and squid hot stone Bibimbop. Started with pot stickers (crispy). Everything cooked right, seasoned right, and portions were about right-sized.Will be back

Have you ever heard any Korean restaurants charge their extra side dishes??? This is the place then. Also food (Galbi tang , bulgugi and spicy pork) were all terrible too. Again!!! unprofessional servers welcome you unfortunately. Sorry guys that was the truth. I felt guilty to my friends brought here for first time. Good luck

I don’t know what happened to this restaurant, wait times are bad and the servers are just terrible. There was one elderly male server that used to work here and was great at serving food! He was very quick at giving me my food on time when I stopped by! I wonder what happened to him :(

Oof. We got take out from Todamgol this time and it was... not really edible. First: the wings - terrible. They have gone from being lightly coated to being heavily battered - they were greasy and unappetizing. Plus there were some random fries potatoes thrown into the box, probably to mask the reduction in the number of wings in an order. We were not fooled; we know the difference between chicken and fries, ahem. Next: the bo ssam - also super greasy (to the point where the pork belly was sitting in a puddle of fat at the bottom of the container). No lettuce or greens were included, so: not really "ssam" as most people know it. For a $50-ish entree we expected way better. The banchan was okay? That was the one positive. We wound up throwing away approximately half of the food. Definitely skipping this place going forward. Many better options in the north end. Sad because we used to really love it.

My friends and I came here for a late lunch after going for a hike in the North Cascades. Todamgol had high Yelp reviews and so we decided to give it a try. We arrived at around 2pm on a Sunday afternoon and were immediately seated. There we're about four other tables being served while we were there, but only one waiter. I ordered the spicy mixed soft tofu soup ($15). My companions ordered the stone beef bibimbap ($18) and the squid and pork belly bibimbap ($20). We received our food within 20 minutes of ordering as well as an assortment of complimentary banchan including honeyed vegetables, fish cake, bean sprouts, kimchi cucumber slices, and kimchi. Of the banchan, the kimchi was my favorite as it was sweet and not overly spicy or tart. My mixed soft tofu soup came with beef, pork, and a variety of seafood including shrimp with heads on and squid. It also came with a side of white rice; I was hoping they served purple rice but I think they only have white rice. I was also slightly disappointed that the bowl wasn't boiling it was served- it was hot, but not simmering by any means. The egg was also hard boiled instead of traditionally cracked into the boiling soup; I think I would've preferred a soft boiled egg instead. With that said, the soup had a good garlicky taste, but it wasn't very spicy at all. I'd give it a 1 star in spice at most. My friends enjoyed their bibimbaps which were still sizzling when served. However, both of them were still hungry afterwards and wanted more appetizers. We asked our server for a second round of banchan, but he only gave us half a round which included just the fish cake, bean sprouts, and kimchi cucumber. I guess people don't normally ask for multiple rounds of appetizers, but I know a lot of other Korean restaurants offer unlimited ban chan. Oh well. Service was slow after we got our food. The waiter came by once to refill our waters though. It took a while for the waiter to come over and give us our check after we were clearly done eating. As far as atmosphere, the restaurant is pretty small and quaint with maybe 4 large tables that seat 8 or so put closely together and 7-8 booths. It has some nice plants at the front (someone definitely has a green thumb!) and traditional decor in the back. It also has a Yelp award, but I couldn't read from my seat what it was for. The bathrooms are also relatively clean, but the trash was overflowing with paper towels. Overall: 3/5 for food, 3.5/5 for service, 3.5/5 for atmosphere

We ordered Korean tofu soup and fried chicken! Both were yummy my 8 year old brother devoured it and the dumpling soup. Definitely hit the spot if you are in the Lynnwood area.

The first time we went to Todamgol, it was pretty good! However, as time passed by, and perhaps due to Covid too, their quality and service have been going down. We went to dine in as well prior to Covid but we recalled their food was no longer great but service was still ok. Yet, in our last visit in May 2022, sadly we have decided to make it our last time going to this place. We came for a late lunch, at 2 pm. We saw that there was no other customer, literally. When we sat down and looked at the menu, prices have gone up significantly. Most of their food costs $15 or above. We ordered bibimbap, 1 type of stew and pancake for appetizer. The pancake came about 20 mins after we ordered, and it cost almost $20 but at least it was decent. After a few more mins, our entrees arrived. The bibimbap was not good, not super bad but we didn't bother to finish it because it wasn't appetizing enough. The stew was so-so as well. All 3 orders came to a little below $60 before tip, which was considered super expensive to us especially that the taste was very average. We also saw that the lady who served us was the only person in the restaurant that day (no helper). I hope at least if we had come for dinner, there would have been more staff in the restaurant. A bit sad to say this, but we won't be back...
