I honestly don't know what happened to this joint. It was my favorite place to order to-go bánh mì from until today. I got there a little before the lunch rush (I was the first of 3 customers before more came in 5 minutes later) and ordered 3 sandwiches. I specifically asked for extra cilantro and extra mayo, my usual order for the last several years. You would think that after raising their prices a few times since Covid-19 hit that they would at least prepare my order properly. Well, guess what? Each sandwich only came with ONE cilantro sprig.Oh, and to that male kid who was behind the counter. You're a punk for talking smack to the rest of the staff about how I ordered (I asked nicely mind you.) Yes, I am Asian and speak your language too! And to think I let that go and still left a tip. SMH.

First time back in years and it's every bit as wonderful as I remember. First came when it opened a long time ago and fell in love. Used to come multiple times a week after soccer and there's nothing better to replenish. They haven't hiked prices anywhere close to what they could have and i was amazed to see how cheap it for the quality in 2024. Go here you won't regret it.

One of the best grilled pork vermicelli bowls around. Nice sized servings and the prices are great.

Good Bahn mí sandwich but charging $4.25 to make it a "meal" is pretty steep for adding one egg roll and a small soda. Other than that the sandwich was good.

Such delicious food! We’ll be back. We had vermicelli (bun) with chicken and it was a huge portion that we ate on all day (more than one meal’s worth of food). Excellent veggies (shredded daikon, carrot, cucumber, lettuce, herbs) and the noodles were cooked perfectly (not soggy). The sauce was YUM! Come here for the best take away if you’re looking for fancy atmosphere (lots of parks in the area).

I've been going here for 12+ years. It has changed a lot. You no longer have access to a Sriracha Bottle, Red Chili Oil, or a bottle of Hoisen. You get small portion cups that they reluctantly hand out. When I ordered my Pho, I politely asked for Hoisen and Red Chili Oil since I had to ask last time (no biggie). Before I could even say, "Red-" the girl with the cap rudely interrupted me and said, "Yeah, it comes with all of that in the broth." (It doesn't) and dismissed me. Very poor customer service. I can handle quiet, but not straight up snotty. They are very stingy with their sauces and do not want to give it out to their customers. I asked for Red Chili once more (they gave it to me last time about a month ago), and the other girl looks at me so confused, and they gave me another small Sriracha. Whatever. Moving on.When I tried my Pho, it tasted bad. The broth was super bland, and a chunk of the meat tasted really bad. Not the Yeye's I remember at all. 10 years ago this place was soo good and you had access to whatever sauces and seasonings you desired. They also seemed nicer back then? The place is generally dirty (which I don't even wanna think about how it looks when cooks handle the meat etc.).All in all, sadly, I am gonna stop going here. It just isn't worth it for the price, food quality, cleanliness, and rude girls at the front.I hope they improve!

Hole in the wall shop but one of the best Vietnamese sandwiches in Washington. Try to grill pork sandwich and their special egg noodles.

The tofu banh mi was too sweet for a banh mi. Granted it’s 8 dollars, but I was expecting more than one flavor to come through. The Vietnamese hot coffee we had tasted like hotel coffee.

Best Pho I've ever had.Quick service, fresh food. Dining area is as basic as it gets and they're so busy it seems they struggle with keeping the tables clear. The place is messy (boxes, produce, disorganized restaurant related stuff sitting around everywhere), but doesn't necessarily appear dirty or suspicious. If they had a public restroom it would be easier to judge the likely state of the food prep areas. What is visible seems not gross.I did struggle with consuming the Pho because usually I twirl the noodles into a bite sized roll using my chopsticks but the chopsticks provided were melamine and too slippery to hold the noodles effectively. They also slide basic not even soup spoons which doesn't hold enough broth. I spilled/dribbled more brother than made it to my mouth so I ended up sipping it from the bowl which doesn't hurt my feelings.

Very good Pho. As good as any in Chinatown. Than Bros is a good baseline but nothing to write home about.Bahn Mi seems a bit expensive, so I haven't tried it. Bathrooms are very clean.

Absolutely delicious. I got the special with ham and Asian pork. Small soup for dipping and spring rolls with giant prawns and pork. Best when consumed on a sunny winter day on the tailgate of my pickup truck.

I moved from Hawai'i to Washington recently and I'm so thrilled to have found a place that has sandwiches as good as my favorite place - Ba-Le. I can't stop craving their sandwiches and egg rolls. Fantastic, friendly and fast service!

As a viet, the pho here is pretty decent and the banh mi is alright. Although the Thai tea is amazing when paired with the pho.
