All they need is more customers.Tried all the tacos and they were great. The carne asada was also well done. Crazy selection of margs. This is all coming from someone that resides in seattle.

This is one of our go-to’s. We used to go to the Port Orchard location, but this location is closer to home and has a nice view of the water and Seattle skyline. The drinks are great and the food portions are big. It’s a good value and we are fortunate to have this location nearby.

The servers are very cordial and attentive. The food is scrumptious. Especially the stuffed Jalepenos and Lolli Corn.I highly recommend the Tortilla Soup and the Burria Quesadilla. The view of Puget sound and the cozy fireplaces make this a wonderful spot for a date night or a family dinner night.

Disappointed. First time trying the new location in Manchester. Service was very slow. Took 15mins to just get drinks. Food service was also slow, one plate delivered and then the appetizer came . My plate wasn’t ready for another 10 minutes. Food was good, just miss timed. The restaurant and bar were empty. Not sure why they changed locations to Manchester. The previous location was better at least it was well staffed and the service was better. A unimpressive visit means we won’t be back. It’s a shame cause we use to really enjoy going to dinner at Carbon.

Half a star. What Mexican restaurant with expensive prices charges for chips and salsa? Service was horrible. One server on a Saturday at lunch time. Others were served before us as well. Our view was of a mop bucket and garbage when it should have been downtown Seattle. Hard to see it when you’re staring at that. Food was not good. There was broccoli and cauliflower in the tortilla soup. No pineapple juice either and to top it off, had cold air blowing on us from their “heater” on a cold day. Quite a shame given the location

At first glance, the menu seemed a little pricey, but it turned out to be a great deal. The portions are huge! The food was delicious! The server was wonderful and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant for a tasty meal and cozy atmosphere.

Went there for a celebration. Tomahawk steak was good as ever…. A lot smaller than before and a lot more expensive! Also ordered a dish that I cant remember how to spell, but it was a hot bowl of cheese and it came with 4 fried tostadas. Was unable to eat it though because whenever we tried to scoop the cheese onto the thin tostadas they just fell apart and we couldnt use it as a dip because it was so thick. Told the waitress when I was paying and you could tell that we didnt eat any of it and she wouldnt take it off for nothing. My wife and my son were with me and we all got our drinks about 5 minutes apart and its not that theybwere busy-there was one family in the whole restaurant other than us. Just really let down.

Hardly any shrimp in my ceviche and was raw. The avocado was hard, it had more cucumber and mangos than anything and when I called them they didn’t even try and fix the problem. Pretty much said I get what I get. So disappointed because I’ve been going there for months and for 30bucks it was NOT worth it today and I won’t be going back because they refused to fix the problem

Carbon review I used to love Carbon. Recently ate at their Manchester location twice. Never again. First time was just ok. Drinks were definitely not up to par - extremely light. I wasn't there to get buzzed, but when I buy a drink, I like to taste the alcohol. The food was ok, but inconsistent in quality. Service was meh. The second time we took our son and his family there to celecbrate his birthday, since they live very nearby. What a mistake. Service was absolutely atrocious. The (admittedly very young) server had no clue. If he wasn't a trainee, he should have been. (And if he was a trainee, where was his supervisor?) It took forever before we even got water, let alone any other drinks or had our order taken. (He was not the only server, so no excuse there.) When our orders finally did arrive, they were not served together. My order was botched. I ordered the Mar Y Tierra, requesting NO SHRIMP because previously (my hubs having ordered this before) the shrimp were terribly overcooked and tough. I also prefer no head on my shrimp. I should have been served at the same time as the rest of my family - I was not. This item should arrive smoking hot and sizzling - it did not. This is especially odd, because it was served well after the rest of my party. The shrimp were there, heads and all (shudder. I gave one to my hubs to test...yep, it was way overcooked.) I should have refused it, right then and there, but we were there with family, and I preferred not to "make a scene." I did point out - immediately - that my order was wrong; it should have been removed immediately. I expected some effort to "make it right." Right? No. No adjustment on the bill. Not even an apology. This company is expanding rapidly in my area. (They bought out my favorite local Mexican joint.) I could possibly attribute this horrible experience to growing pains, but this is just over the top BAD. I made reference to my bad experience on one of their FB posts, which they simply deleted without contacting me at all. Such a "head in the sand" attitude does not bode well for the future success of this once wonderful restaurant.
