Not only is the food healthy and delicious, the family here is wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. We have been going here for years and it is a staple for us when we are looking for "out to eat" food! ?

I really don't think the good reviews for this place is warranted, to be honest. I'll preface this review to say that the service was friendly and relatively good. However, the same cannot be said about the food. I got the yellow curry with chicken, and it was horrendous. I asked for a relatively high spice level, but I didn't taste anything spicy. The chicken was pretty dry and the curry was kind of tasteless. I don't remember exactly how much I paid, but it was close to Seattle prices. I can't believe this place has 4.5 stars while a much better quality restaurant in Seattle (Kin Len, which I highly recommend by the way) has 4.3 stars.

This is a small family owned/ run Thai restaurant that we discovered a few years ago and have always gone back to when in the area. Jimmy, who waits the tables, is extremely friendly, patient, and accommodating. I always get the yellow curry vegetarian dish, and I love it every time. It's extremely delicious. The taro desert has just the right amount of sweet and unique flavor that's just ?

Thurs is a small operation, mother and son. They do a great job for just 2 of them. The food is good but not as fancy as at other Thai places. The waiter is super friendly and will remember you if you're a returning customer. The decor is pretty basic. It's a typical diner but with some Thai decorations. Overall I would return but I wouldn't go out of my way.

My family has been going to Mai’s for over 25 years. The food is incredible and the business is run by an incredible family, the mother, Mai herself, cooks every dish to order, and always greets every customer with love. Although I’ve grown up and moved away, every time I visit my mother, we gather at Mai’s, and when a new friend visits WA, Mai’s is the first place I take them. Her food is a unique combination of Thai and Vietnamese, and they have so many options for gluten free, vegetarian, vegan. The list goes on. They also offer incredible take out, and the quality has remained impeccable throughout the years.Vegetarian options: All meals made fresh to order and are highly customizableDietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly, veggie friendlyKid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: All tables and restrooms are wheelchair accessible
From out of town and was recommended this place. Family ran and treated me with respect and kindness. Went above and beyond to make sure I was able to order and come back when it was ready. Yellow Curry with Steamed Rice was exceptional. I love Thai food and Mai’s Thai Restaurant will not disappoint. The place was packed and Jimmy THANK YOU AND MAI for your hospitality and amazing food.Vegetarian options: 6 Vegetarian options Pad Thai, Curry, Chow Mein, Fried Rice

Great food and excellent service. A small family owned restaurant with about six tables for indoor dining. We were really impressed by the fresh and quality food, and the quick service. A true gem.

Tried Mai’s for the first time today; I am very impressed. Firstly things - spacious for the location, super clean, well-lit with great ambience. But more importantly —the servings are amazing. I had the Curry Talay (2*) and just wanted it to go on forever. Got to try a forkful of my wife’s Phad Thai and it was also excellent. Highly recommended.
