At first we didn't think anyone was in there, at 5:30 Saturday night. I ordered the 3 piece cod and chips. It was pretty good for$13.00. My husband ordered the Jambalia (?) and he said it was very good, but extremely spicy. Keep the pepcid near by. The waitress was very nice. And went out of her way to serve you.

We ordered fried okra for appetizer, it was the same okra I buy frozen, they were calling their mayonnaise with a few spices tartar sauce. Ordered jumbo cod dinner....it was burnt to a very dark brown almost black, some fries came with it and I am sure day old cole slaw. Flavorless. This place calls itself Southern cooking. NOPE, OVER PRICED, UNSEASONED, UNDERWELMING!!!! STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO MC DONALDS.

Thus place is so yummy! All day breakfast is a plus. I had the shrimp & grits, my husband had Chicken & waffles. We were both super impressed. Don't sleep on this place!

Had mixed feelings here. Came for the buffet around mid afternoon just to find out if was a normal restaurant. That being said the food was probably some of the best southern style food I've ever had. The waiter was amazing too! Menu was a little limited but not necessarily a bad thing. Would have been 5 stars had the buffet been open or had there been sufficient info informing of the buffet hours, assuming it's still running at all. There is contradictory information on former reviews.

Really good food and enormous portions. Fried chicken was so tender and flavorful and the chicken fried steak and eggs were HUGE and the gravy was better than anything I could make. Kincaid was so thoughtful and nice and anticipated our every need even though she also had a 10 person table too. Highly recommend.

Worst place I have ever eaten. Service was bad. Kids were taking our order and kept calling their Mom to find out if things that were on the menu were actually on the menu. Example I order milk and the kids said that it wasn't on the so they yelled to their Mom and asked if they severed it .The Mom said yes.
Had fish and chips it was grease, cold slaw was bland. Fries were great. But I felt as if they were rushing us out. I asked if they were open before going in. We were the only ones there. Dought if I'd go back.

I went here because of the location that used to be a very popular buffet.It is new ownership and they don't do the buffet style.I ordered my usual bacon and eggs breakfast.The wait person was so professional. This guy was just great at his job.So my eggs were over cooked. Not terribly but not over easy for sure.I am not sure how they will do without the buffet style. There are many established breakfast and lunch eateries.So food was ok and service was excellent.

They call this southern comfort food and it couldn't be anything further from it. The service is horrible, the food just as bad, they advertise as a buffet but it isn't and the interior is dirty. So the okra was hard and crunchy, the chicken fried steak way over done, the so called red beans and rice are just beans in top of rice and the sweet tea way over sweetened with syrup and not sugar. It still has all the buffet stuff inside from Golden Corral but the waitress who didn't care about us being there said they may use it some day. Seriously find a better place to eat than here the only thing I can say positive about here is that the bathroom was clean.
