Really good sandwiches but awful nutritionally for you. Comparing the full chicken pesto to a McDonald's double quarter pounder, 827 kcal vs 740, 33g protein vs 48g, 63g carbs vs 43g. Macro wise not the best option when cutting weight but very tasty sandwiches regardless.

Sure smells good when entering the sandwich shop! Ordered the turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich...delishious. My 9 year old loved it too. Not a long wait. Will come back when in the area again.

I love thé food and service here, but this restaurant is super smoky! Every time I eat here I come away smelling like smoke and it even triggers my asthma. Would come here more often if they installed a better ventilation system.

All of the Homegrowns are the same, as far as the taste and quality goes. The atmosphere here is one of the plain ones that could use a bit of sprucing up. The tables were all greasy and the floors were dirty. But if you only are concerned about the food, the food is really good. ?I've noticed that the prices have really increased. One sandwich, and a drink will cost you just under $26. Expensive, but worth it if you want a sandwhich that is fancier than the classic footlong garbage at Subway.

Been eating here for a long time, lately there has been a dip in quality and attentiveness. Every time I do a take out order something is wrong or missed. i.e., asked to remove cheese from my bowl, bowl still has cheese on it when I pick it up.As a person with major allergies, I'm disappointed to see this lack of attentiveness and care in food service.Vegetarian options: All options are clearly labeled. I am concerned about cross contamination if you order a vegan option.Dietary restrictions: Staff not attentive enough when putting together bowls to trust with allergy concerns.

Super fresh and tasty. You can tell the quality of the produce is especially high.

This place started off rough but it's really improved and their sandwiches are pretty great. They seemed to simplify things quite a bit. The breakfast one is particularly well done. Drink selection could be a lot better.

The smoked pastrami sandwich tastes great. Add parsley & cucumber.

I freaking love their sandwiches here and the service is always great too. They have a wonderful menus election and the service staff are one of a kind.

I was here on Wednesday 8/2/23 at 12:45 and there was a hiccup with the POS and the wonderful girl working named Ray was super helpful and went above and beyond to work out a solution for us on our first visit to Homegrown on our first day after moving to Mercer island ? we appreciate her so much and will definitely be coming back because of her and the food!

I gotta agree with a few other reviewers about the lack of anyone working above high school age and no manager and its like they turn the place into their hangout spot instead of a place of work. I go once a week on the way to pick up kids at school and it usually takes way too long to get a sandwich when there's 8 kids working and no one else in the store. Today the music was blaring so loud you could hear it down the street at the French Cafe. Inside it was unbearably loud and was rap music which i guarantee whoever owns it wouldnt approve of if they were there. I mean come on I thought it was a joke or they all decided to quit that day lol. They're all just chatting openly about their private lives instead of working. When you get your food they dont make eye contact, dont smile and couldnt be less interested. I'm sure most of them are local and have wealthy parents and it's good they're working and trying to learn but everyone else has to suffer because they obviously don't care. I've seen so many different kids working I'm sure they have a very high turnover rate. It's funny how you can get really bad service in both affluent and poor neighborhoods but because of different reasons

The food is typically great at Homegrown, but the experience at this specific location is consistently subpar. They are always in the weeds and orders take forever. I was just there and no one else was in the restaurant and it took 20min + to get my order (1 bowl). They were making door dash orders and apparently had no one on dine-in orders.I get it, everyone is understaffed, but it’s been disappointing every time I come to the Mercer island location.I would give it 1 star if not for other positive experiences at different locations

The. Worst. Homegrown in Seattle. If you can go to any either sandwich place do. I don't blame the crew there were plenty of young people working there for a Saturday I count eight. The problem was lack of management. So many kids standing around with no direction.
