“Fantastic southern style BBQ in a quaint, gorgeous, northwestern part of the country. I enjoyed a delicious BBQ sandwich with Cole Slaw and Beans. Veteran-run business, with delicious food, friendly staff, and quick service. Get there early because they do run out of food.”
“I don't think I have been to a more kid friendly place. Chalk, corn hole, and tables that created a perfect atmosphere for everyone. The Food was great as well!Kid-friendliness: Corn hole, sidewalk chalk, and more”

“I have been getting coffee from them for 7 years since we moved from Lacey to Montesano. Good coffee and good service. The girls are always nice and very friendly.”
“My Grandmother, My Father, and I all visited here for the first time today for My Fathers birthday. We all very much enjoyed everything! Our service was amazing from the time we walked in. The food was just as good!! Really awesome fish mounts on the wall as well and a welcoming vibe. We all ordered from the seafood section of the menu and it was all cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh!! Also the Oyster shooters are a MUST!!! We will definitely be back often!! One of our new favorite local spots GHC.”
“Our barista was very nice, and the americano I ordered was great! While waiting in line, I opened Yelp and started to get worried because of some negative reviews. However, my experience was very positive! I have no complaints and would get my coffee here again.”
“Brought my family here and we loved the food and the Shirley temples was amazing as well I recommend going here if you are looking for a amazing home cooked meal thank you”
“Pizza was good but overpriced I got a large chicken bacon jalapeño without the chicken replaced with bacon and it was $40 I have NEVER paid that much for a pizza in my life and prob won't go back because of it!!!!”
“I never write reviews but this place was super helpful in meeting my dietary needs and preventing cross contamination from gluten. They say they have a dedicated dryer for their French fries which is awesome. Their burger patties have great flavor.”
“Nestled in Montesano, Washington, Charlie's holds a charm that goes beyond its physical space. It's about the heart and soul of this place—its people. What truly resonates for me is Charlie's remarkable ability to transform strangers into friends who share in the revelry. One instance stands out—last week a spirited wedding group from Tacoma extended their Lake Sylvia celebrations at Charlie's.Seeking fresh perspectives, I sat down with this culturally diverse wedding party. In our conversations, we explored whether Montesano, a town sometimes associated with the small-town stereotypes that Jason Aldean's song "Try That in a Small Town" inadvertently promotes, lived up to those labels. Did they feel like outsiders, or were they embraced for who they are? Their insights painted a vivid picture—a Montesano drenched in warmth, challenging stereotypical small-town vibes, and illuminating the town's genuine character.Stepping into Charlie's, newcomers encounter no unease—no awkward hush, no wary glances. Instead, you're greeted with the warmth reserved for an old friend you haven't yet met. And this experience wasn't just mine—it's a sentiment echoed by others. Just as the wedding party found belonging here, so did I, and that's the true essence of Charlie's—a genuine haven in our small town, bridging divides and weaving connections.Let's continue embracing the stories and celebrate the differences that bring us together, and let the music play. ??Kid-friendliness: My kid is furry and has four legs.”
“A good lunch spot while on a road trip. Value was great, along with the food. The overall interior is a bit old, but didn't detract much from the dine-in especially. I also appreciated the complimentary tea.Parking: Street parking, availability will depend on the day and time.”
“Great place to relax, visit with friends, and eat. Great food. We will be back.Parking: Not a whole lot of places to park. But we continue to go for great food, staff, atmosphere.”
“Grandma and I went to subway today and she had trouble picking out a sandwich and the most beautiful girl help us out today, tnks for a cool little town y'all are ”
“Great spot to stop. They had every amenity you could ask for, good showers, bathrooms, a rec room, large RV spaces, a nice pub with a big porch, and some of the most friendly people we’ve ever met on the road. We had an issue with our trailer and the owners, staff and fellow campers went above and beyond to help us get things moving. Would always recommend this place to anyone traveling through Artic!”
“Love this place. I have been going since I was a child. Certain items on the menu are better than others. Fried foods are hit and miss on if they are fresh tasting. Last time I went it tasted like the oil was old or needed changed . The main attraction for my family and I to go here is the ice cream. So many choices and always nostalgic. We ate outside last time we were there in which they had a dog friendly area that was covered. They even brought our food out to us which was great.”

“My mom and I were walking in this small town and we peeked our heads in to check out this cool little shop. They serve coffee, tea, and food. The menu changes with the seasons and what's available. We didn't order anything, but there was seating inside, books for sale, and very friendly staff.Parking would be along the street. I didn't see a designated parking lot, but I think it would be relatively easy to find parking.”
