The hype is real.Rich, complex, smooth Mole. Chocolate, peanuts, myriad layers of pepper.White beans and rice are fire.Enchilada presentation with pickles onions on top makes me wish other Mexican places approached enchiladas the same way.LARGE portion sizes which means tomorrow morning’s breakfast scramble will be Mole-liciousMargarita was so good my husband drank most of mine (he doesn’t usually drink, haha.)
The atmosphere was different than most Mexican restaurants but was very new and provided a good vibe. The service was prompt and well done.The homemade chips and salsa were on point and we really enjoyed the dip appetizer.The carne asada looked amazing and the tacos were healthy with quality sides. I enjoyed the food here! Definitely expensive, but honestly one of the only good places to eat after the tulip festival, and I'm sure they know that too.I got the pollo a la parilla and it was delicious and kept me energized for the rest of the day.Service was quick and food was relatively quick too.I'd definitely recommend if you don't mind paying the extra cost. Check out the donuts across the street once you're done.
