Food quality and price and service is exceptional. We come here everytime we're in the area.

The drinks and service are great! But the food is terrible. While the menu looks like an authentic Italian cousin, it tastes awful. Because of its ambiance and location, the restaurant has so much potential, but please hire new chefs or pay for their Italian food classes.

We stumbled upon this place while staying in Mt Vernon and we were delighted. We came early and enjoyed the early specials and happy hour. The house Chardonnay was excellent. Our server was very good and gave us time to order. He brought us some garlic bread which was really good. The early meal special came with bruschetta, choice of soup or salad and a dessert. There were several choices for the entree and we had veal piccata pasta was excellent I had tomato basil soup sister had salad. The restaurant had a nice feeling to it. Plenty of space. Didn't feel like you were sitting on top of other people while dining and easy to have a conversation. If you find your way to Mt Vernon check it out!

Ver cute restaurant. They have 3 rooms, one very large, one medium (seats about 30) and a small (seats 18). We were in the small room which feels almost like a private room. Extensive menu which included "sunset specials". Sunset specials included bruschetta and dessert. I had the veal parmigiana and the wife mushroom fettuccine. Everything was very good, very tasty and not salty. The panacotta for dessert was divine. Good food, great service, cozy setting. Nice place for an Italian dinner out.

My two sets of grandparents, my parents, younger brother, boyfriend, and myself had a wonderful night last Sunday (4/14). Tony took excellent care of us, even taking a couple photos for us on the stairs to celebrate my grandparents' visit, and made sure our food was perfect, our drinks were full, and that we had everything we needed! Thank you so much for a wonderful end to their visit :)

We’ve been looking for Italian restaurant on our day trip to Mt. Vernon town. We like the food and the staff are all friendly and nice. Tomato soup for starter is so delicious, biscotti was crunchy and buttery. This has been a very special find in this place.

Great food, very reasonable prices. Can be cold in this place. Bring 2 blankets one to sit on and one to cover up with!

We've been multiple times and the service (Tony in particular!) is wonderful, food is good and atmosphere is one of those few places where you would not feel out of place dressed up or fairly casual.

Kid-friendliness: Probably not kid-friendly, but if you get them looking nice it might be a experience. I know that I wouldn't like it back when I was a kid. I'd prefer Red Robin...Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp included

What a pleasant experience this place is . The food is a delicious authentic menu. The meatballs were full of flavor and meat. Their tomato soup appetizer melted my taste buds. Pasta just right…We came through as tourists for the Tulip Featival and were blown away by this grand dining experience.Breanna was an excellent guide and server of our great memory here. And they serve spumoni ice cream here.Kid-friendliness: My one year old loved slurping up the different noodles and flavors

We accidentally walked in and found it. It's surprising that it's in the Grainery next to the freeway and the bus station. What a classy place.

I love this restaurant but had a bad experience this past visit. A friend and I met up there for my birthday dinner. I ordered my favorite, the gnocchi. I usually ask for it with a regular marinara sauce instead of the Gorgonzola sauce. I ordered the same thing in December and the saucy was thick and delicious. This time it was a thin runny flavorless tomato sauce like straight out of a can. Should I have asked for a red sauce, a meat sauce, or something else? I ate a few gnocchis which were wonderful fluffy goodness as usual. Because of the bland sauce, I decided to save the rest for home where I could add some meat and spices to the sauce. My friend decided to take her entree home for later also. We had already enjoyed garlic bread, bruschetta, and soup. We asked the waitress for take out boxes and she proceeded to take our plates away. Both my friend and I agreed that we hate when they do that. We always wonder if we are getting all our leftovers. The waitress returned with our food boxed and bagged. We both checked our bags. My box was labeled "gnocci" (spelled wrong). We left and headed home: me to north of Bellingham, my friend to south of Mount Vernon. The next day I looked forward to my entree, since I didn't get to enjoy it the evening before. Imagine my disappointment when I opened my "gnocci" box to find my friend's order instead. I called her and she was upset also. Since we live so far from each other and don't plan on getting together for at least another month, we decided to freeze our meals. I am just hoping my gnocchi defrosts and reheats nicely when I do get it back. This all could have been avoided if the take out boxes were brought out to our table and filled. This sad experience won't stop me from eating there again but we will certainly double check our leftover containers in the future.
