Sushi chef made polite conversation and the servers checked in on me often in a friendly polite manner. At first I hesitated to get the rice with my chirashi bowl. But so glad I did, it was just as delicious as all of the raw plump fishes. Sooo yummy and delicious.

Stepping into AJI Sushi Newcastle was like stepping into a world of sleek modernity and vibrant energy. The restaurant's clean and contemporary décor, featuring minimalist lines and pops of warm colors, instantly created a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff, with their genuine smiles and attentive service, further reinforced the sense of comfort and hospitality. But let's delve into the true star of the show: the food! From the very first bite, it was evident that AJI Sushi Newcastle prioritizes freshness, quality, and innovative flavor combinations. My dining companions and I embarked on a culinary journey that tantalized our taste buds and left us wanting more.We opted for a diverse selection of sushi rolls and a plate of their spicy chicken teriyaki. Each roll was expertly crafted, showcasing the vibrant colors and textures of the fresh ingredients. Each roll was a visual masterpiece with a delightful explosion of flavors in every bite. The spicy tuna roll, packed with a satisfying kick, offered a delightful balance of heat and creaminess. And the seared salmon, with its slightly caramelized exterior and melt-in-your-mouth texture, was a true testament to the quality of the fish.Beyond the exceptional food, the service at AJI Sushi Newcastle deserves high praise. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations and patiently answering our questions. They were also genuinely attentive, ensuring our water glasses were always refilled and our needs were promptly addressed. Their friendly demeanor and genuine engagement added another layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. One minor detail to consider: parking can be a bit challenging, especially during peak hours. If you're planning a visit, be sure to factor in some extra time to find a spot. However, trust me, the delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional service at AJI Sushi Newcastle are well worth the effort.Overall, my experience at AJI Sushi Newcastle was nothing short of outstanding. The modern and inviting ambiance, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and innovative and flavorful dishes make it a place I highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Just remember the parking tip, and you're in for a treat!Parking: Can be difficult to find a spot to park during the dinner rush

Warning! This place force you to tip 20% they add that to your recipt its not optional, food and place is good but i hate when businesses do it, not everybody can afford a 20% tip but does that mean you cant go eat ? I just dont like it and i think its important to warn others about it

The food is very good! The only reason we don't go here as often as we'd like is their seating. As a family of 5, we always get seated in a booth, which is meant for 4 adults, which means one person is crammed in the corner with no room to speak of. Spending nearly $200.00 for a meal for our family, I would like to be more comfortable and not feel like a sardine. We've asked for a larger table, but they never can help us out. They won't scoot tables together, either. Very frustrating when spending that kind of money and having to hurry up to eat because we are uncomfortable. If they could accommodate 5 adults, we would definitely eat their more as their sushi (and Chicken Teriyaki) are delicious.Parking: Parking can be difficult, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
