Our family goes to this coffee stand every day, and we have for many years. The coffee is consistently great, not bitter like some coffee shops! Even when new Baristas come on board, they are well-trained and understand the value of being genuine and super nice to the customers. I won't go anywhere else unless we are out of town.It's like watching CHEERS on TV, if you're old enough to remember it! They always came for the drinks, but stayed because they felt like family. That's Newcastle Espresso for ya!

Echoing other comments, the baristas are so nice here and make delicious coffee!! And they def remember their regulars. My husband and I moved here just a couple weeks ago, and our orders being remembered at the local coffee shop was what made us feel like we were really home. Highly recommend!

When I'm in the food for great coffee, I come here vs. Starbucks. The coffee is smooth & bold without being bitter and strong. My go to is an Americano. And surprisingly the lady remembered me on my second visit and asked if I wanted an Americano. Great touch of customer service. The bagels are fresh & bigger than what I would get at Starbucks too. And more bagel options is a plus for me. I get why people love their small coffee stands here. They are quaint, friendly, & so much better than the big guys.

Wow always a great stop and so much better than Starbucks. Yeah it's a small drive up by a Shell gas station but after you meet Jessica, weekend barista you will understand why we go here. She knows us by name, sometimes has our drinks made when we pull up as she knows our car. The conversations are always enjoyable and she obviously has a strong weekend following. Plus they use Cafe D'arte local roaster that has the best beans. Stay away from Starbucks when in Newcastle and visit Jessica one of these weekends.
