Food was better than their "competitor" closer to the freeway. Food was delicious too. Service was very friendly and attentive even in a busy environment. Only complaint was it's a little dark where we sat and margaritas did not taste like they had tequila in them, just tasted like the mix. Otherwise will be back!

Tasty food with a cheerful interior. Staff is very friendly and service is extremely fast. The portions are large and affordable. If you’re cold and hungry after a day of activities in the mountains, this is the perfect place to stop on your way back home.

WE LOVE EL CAPORAL! This is my favorite mexican restaurant! The service is always friendly and makes for a wonderful environment.The food is consistent. Good menue and great salsa. Its not the fanciest place but when we go there its comfortable and familiar. You always know you're gunna leave happy.Love alot of other places in town but if you live here or are passing through, give el cap a shot, you wont regret it.

Worst food I’ve had , and to make it worst THE WORSTTTTTT SERVICE !! The little waiter dude with glasses messed up every single item on our order -Never brought out drinks -Never brought the apps -I am lost for words how bad the service was had to send it back twice once for it not being what we ordered then brought back something totally wrog again/ he should probably write down what people order because he couldn’t remember both times he came in legit shoooook-Don’t waste your money - we legit gonna go to taco time now and get something more authentic lol

We've come here plenty times and the food is typically amazing as well as service. Tonight made me actually want to write a different review based on the service we had. I had just gotten off from work, already had eaten dinner earlier so I wasn't super hungry- it was around 7pm- but my boyfriend needed a bite to eat so I decided to of course join him and get a dessert, no problem. Our waitress Sylvia (name on receipt) was dumbfounded and acted like it was a sin against humanity to order a dessert... I let it go because I'm not one to let others bother me. Once my sweets came to the table, she sat them down, threw her hands up at us- rolled her eyes !! and said "here's dessert for your dinner" and walked away, not in a jokingly way either.. I was shocked. Ive been to SO many restaurants across states and this has never happened to me before!! Being judged for ordering something should not be apart of an experience at a restaurant.
