I remember walking past the Brotherhood and being too scared to enter. Two friends took me there and I felt like Dr. Strange entering another universe. A cool univererse. I am not a seasoned pub-crawler but make sure this one is on your list if you are. This is cash only establishment. There is an ATM...where you can draw cash at $2 pop. And they will give you quarters for the pool table.
Such a friendly place , we were visiting from Whidbey & it felt like we were locals that go there every weekend. Amanda & the rest of the staff were very welcoming. Going again

The Brotherhood is pretty unique. You go there because it is the vibe you are looking for. It is dark, a bit chilly, definitely an old fashioned bar. The drinks were good. When I was there the food options were pretty much limited to hummus. (The hummus was amazing though) They only take cash so be aware. However there is an ATM in the bar so you can get cash right there if you don't mind the fees.
