Jokes flow easily, and their banter is refreshing, making the diner feel not just welcome but celebrated. One aspect that stands out is Shelby's genuine enthusiasm for the talented kitchen crew and the harmonious front-of-house team at Chelsea Farms. Their responses to our praise of the food and drinks always include heartfelt admiration for their coworkers and the supportive atmosphere fostered by management. Having higher end serving experience myself, I can attest that Shelby's excitement and admiration for their colleagues is palpable and reflects a deep appreciation for the restaurant's culture. The Seafood Tower, while expensive, is worth every penny, showcasing high-end, fresh seafood that's a delight for any seafood enthusiast and is our favorite “one in a while” splurge in Olympia. Additionally, Chelsea Farms’ bartenders have created a fantastic selection of craft cocktails that are imaginative and well-developed, with each one we've tried leaving us thoroughly impressed and eager to explore more. The wine list is well matched to the menu, even for borderline wine snobs like my wife and myself.Overall, dining at Chelsea Farms has always been solid, but Shelby's exceptional service, coupled with the outstanding quality of the food and beverages, has made our last two trips distinctly delightful and memorable. The oysters were impeccably fresh, sourced directly from the farm, and served with an array of tantalizing accompaniments. Me and my wife came here for a dinner date and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! The service was good for the most part, there were long pauses without any interaction from the waitress but the food came out very quick. The atmosphere was fun and laid-back. The steak tartare was amazing 10/10. Will definitely be coming back again.

Not the best! I didn’t realize they closed at seven and was approached by Adrienne, who seemed like she’d rather do anything else except serve us and that attitude continued the entire time. My Husband accidentally bumped into her and she rolled her eyes at him. The food was good but portions were small. I worked in the industry before becoming a nurse and I feel like things could have been so much better.
Really good seafood. Portions were a tad small but delicious. Would go back.

Mocktails, entrée, and dessert were phenomenal! Every time I’ve eaten there the food has been 10/10. Service was also excellent. When my salmon salad came out, it had a tiny little piece of salmon, and the server said that they asked the cooks to cook another piece for me because they didn’t think it was enough. It was something that I would’ve internally noticed but would have never said aloud so I really appreciated that. We asked for the bill right at closing time, and the server asked if we wanted dessert. We said we thought about it but didn’t want to keep the staff there after closing. She was super nice and encouraged us to order anyway because there were people there who would stay much longer than us (they did). Just little things that don’t happen often in Olympia food service that I really appreciated!
