One of my absolutely favorite places to come for lunch or dinner.Salmon Caesar salad, fish and chips, crab cake sandwich, great beer and cider on tap.Big open inviting space with lots lights.No place I’d rather be on a Friday evening.
The best fish and chips we have ever had! Unfortunately, they were out of oysters after the long holiday weekend Would have gone back, but had to go home to Maui We will definitely go back next time in Olympia!!!!

Amazing food! The fish and chips are to die for! It's just a good place for some good ol fashioned American food that is good quality. Servings are large and good for the price, so you shouldn't leave here hungry or disappointed. Good parking out back, too. Definitely recommend it to anyone in the Olympia area looking for melt in your mouth beer battered cod!

The bartender was our server and he was great. I had the crab cake burger and it wasn't what I had hoped for. Not a whole lot of crab and there was a predominant spice, may have been old bay, that killed the experience for me. Nice brioche bun though. Friends enjoyed the fish and chips and really liked one of their burgers.Parking: If you are standing in front of the restaurant there is a lot to the right that is free at lunchtime.

Large group of family had dinner on a quiet Saturday night. I had the fish tacos and they looked good on arrival, but a real disappointment from then on. First clue was the temperature....literally no warmth to the food at all. The small, dried out chunks of 'grilled' cod were cold and dusted directly with a lot of dried cumin, which was out of place and too strong. The fish was obviously not cooked to order, but had been sitting around then loaded on with the other ingredients.Pretty awful and ruined the dish.No excuse for charging $20 for two of these with a chosen side, with that level of carelessness.If I hadn't been dining with my friends' lovely family, I would have sent them back...but that would have created a scene I wasn't willing to make.Now I can see why there were few customers on what should have been a bustling weekend night.Wouldn't repeat that experience, and in any case few options for a vegetarian/pescatarian on the menu.

We ate at Fish Tale for the first time in a couple of years. I enjoyed the one of excellent selection of Craft Brews available on Tap and the best burger I have ever been served in Olympia. We will make Fish Tail a regular stop for Pub Food and great beer.

Nice servers, fairly quick getting the food. But overpriced and only adequate meals. The fish and chips were bland, fish tacos a little overcooked. Expensive for what it wasn't.

This was a nice cool place to stop by for lunch. They had several different options of beer or other drinks to choose from and they're food was good (especially the garlic parmesean fries). Loved the atmosphere and would definitely come here again!

Love the vibe! Attended a networking event upstairs...great space! The Nachos were an event (the salsa is so good!) and the service was well done!

They were very accommodating of our large group! Our birding club had a wonderful time meeting after an event and we really appreciated them hosting us. The pretzel and cheese curds were delicious too.
B.L.A.S.T. (bacon, lettuce, avocado, swiss, and tomato) was soooo delicious!! It (bacon) was cooked exactly to my liking (burnt)!!! ? Service was exceptional. It was a little pricey, but expected, given all this inflation bs. The "Cajun" fries were the only thing I wasn't impressed with. They were bland and barely tasted seasoned with anything.Vegetarian options: Several vegan/vegetarian options!

My wife and I together with another couple had dinner there last night. I had heard much about this restaurant and was really looking forward to eating there. We were a little disappointed. Maybe it was because our expectations were too high. My wife had the salmon salad. The salad was good but the salmon was dry. I had the fish and chips. The fish was good but the french fries were limp and soggy. The coleslaw was so-so. The couple we were with had the fish tacos which they said were good. We also had a side of oysters on the half shell which were quite good. Overall, the food was decent but nothing special.

We were seated in a room with a low ceiling and only the front open. While we were one of only three tables seated, the room was loud. My guess is that the low ceiling caused this.
