Really wanted to love this place! Nice BBQ joint, fun eclectic atmosphere, all the fixings for a good BBQ meal. The food was pretty good, a little dry. And they got part of our order wrong (ordered 2 chicken breast dinners, got 2 1/2 chicken dinners, but didn't check until we got to our picnic.) But enjoyable, and I will likely give them another try next time I drive through.

You know a steakhouse is going to be good when the menu says they won't refund a steak that's been ordered well done! You also know it's going to be good when the walls are covered in awards. I mean that literally, there are plaques and trophies and ribbons everywhere.And you know what? The high praise is deserved. I had the best barbecued pork sandwich of my life here. The meat was smokey and tender, the sauce was delicious and tangy, and the meal was worth every penny.Quick side note for you potato salad lovers out there. Their potato salad is a kitchen sink style with olives, celery, onion, all sorts of stuff. I enjoyed it, but it might not be for everyone.Definitely will eat here again when we're down in the Olympia area. 10/10, no notes, just keep on being a fantastic award-winning establishment!Kid-friendliness: They've got a pretty decent kids menu. My little one devoured her chicken strips, but wasn't a huge fan of the fries (which was fine, because those fries are delicious and it meant more for me, haha)

Corn bread muffins have been improved since the last time we visited, very good. The onion rings are very good. The potato salad tastes like it came from a grocery store. Some of my ribs were dry. The BBQ sauce is excellent. The staff was fast and friendly, especially one young man who was non-stop, checking on tables and cleaning.

Really great atmosphere. I took my sons with me today, and it was our first time. This is the only BBQ I've had in the northwest that could rival with what i had in the south when I lived there. Better service, too, on the whole. You can tell they take pride in what's on your plate. Pulled pork? Amazing. Loved the sides too. I had Cole slaw and potatoes salad. One son got the chili and it was incredible. Definitely going back as you can't find BBQ like this around here anywhere I've found.

We spent the weekend at the ocean for my birthday. My husband wanted to treat me to a great ribeye steak and so we stopped here. We ordered the ribeye which says it is a pound. The cost was HIGH at $38, but he wanted to treat me. I assumed that there would be plenty left over for lunch the next day. I ordered my ribeye medium well. When it came, the first four bites were just plain fat. I mentioned to the waitress that it was really fatty. Then, when I got to the meat, it was red and runny. My husband is okay with that, so we traded and his was closer to medium well. Unfortunately, it was also more fat then meat. Any normal cook would have cut off the massive amount of fat on one end of both steaks.... both were closer to 6-8 ounces of actual meat. Ribeye is supposed to be well marbled--that's what makes it taste yummy! It isn't supposed to come with two inches of fat on one end and more on the other. The steak itself had a nice smoky taste, but didn't chew like a ribeye. I'm a small eater and it was easy to finish the meat portion, because it wasn't large. I showed the waitress the amount of fat left on my plate at the end of my meal--close to 1/2 of the steak, and she said, "Next time you come, ask for a less fatty piece." Really? The beans were tasty, but really hot. My husband likes spicy, and he didn't finish his. The potato salad was ok. All in all, we won't be back. It sort of ruined my birthday weekend. Maybe the other food is good....

Really good BBQ, if you’re from the south this place is the spot! The pulled pork, brisket and chili were really good but the best part was the corn bread. I would go back just for the corn bread alone ?
