Ordered halibut fish and chips. Food was OK, but a little bland. Woukd have like it to have a little more crunch (fried a little longer) and better seasoning. Best part of the visit was our server; drinks refilled fast, kept checking on us, very polite and professional. Short walk from apartments and bus station. Would visit again.

Our server was awesome, unfortunately forgot his name as his shift ended half way through our service. Got the king crab boil, which was pretty good except that my crab legs were cold.

The waiter was pretty useless, there was no menu for the oyster selection so I asked the waiter for some more info, and he couldn’t tell me anything about each of the oysters. Just said “these ones are pretty good”.We got the beer and oyster flight which was pretty disappointing, it’s 5 random beers and 5 random oysters, when we figured that they would be paired up to match the flavors or something. For an oyster house I figured they would have put a bit more care and pride into the oysters they serve, but instead it seems like an afterthought.I’m also pretty sure the oysters were bad, since my husband and I both got sick afterwards and it was the only thing both of us ate.The ambiance sitting outside is nice, but that’s about the only redeeming value of this place.

Like most places you eat out anymore, prices have increased immensely so be prepared for sticker shock

My steak came out under done. My mash potatoes looked and tasted old. My best friend and fiancé had the king crab boil. Which they enjoyed but both ended up not feeling well the next morning.

Great people good food. Right on the water downtown. Not a super busy day when we stopped in. Great for family and friends. Prime rib on a Thursday.

Nice place for a work lunch or casual date night.I ordered the Oyster House Dinner. The oysters had a nice texture, but needed something seasoning wise to really shine. I probably should have asked for Tabasco sauce. I usually get a Caesar salad with pan fried oysters, and maybe that's a better combination.Atmosphere is a lot like a nautical themed Red Robin. It's on the water and it has a nice patio for warm weather.Staff were attentive and helpful. For the same price I think I'd rather go to Hearth Fire.Parking is usually available. Kids are welcome, that do have a kids menu. The restaurant is one level and pretty accessible, although the parking may be a challenge.

A friend and I met for dinner on March 22nd. The waiter was friendly but not very attentive. He didn't know anything about the wine selection too. I ordered the halibut tacos. I didn't want fries because they probably weren't gluten free. I asked about subbing a side salad and was told they don't do that and it would be $8 for the salad. I declined. From my perspective everything is very over-priced. Two tacos and fries for $22 is a bit much. $13 for a glass of basic merlot is ridiculous. In terms of the tacos, I wouldn't feel taken advantage of if it was 3 tacos and no fries. The tacos tasted good but the amount of filling and halibut was minimal. I won't be going back.

Friendly service. We ordered plates that were $23 - $29 each. The calamari was imitation which was a huge bummer for being a seafood place. The captains platter had 3 small shrimp, 3 oysters, and imitation calamari. Definitely not worth the price. The budd bay platter came with a few fries 3 small shrimp and a burnt piece of fish, didn’t even get the oysters that were supposed to come with it. Just upset about how expensive the mediocre food is. When you spend over $150 on a meal you would expect it to be decent food. Won’t be back unfortunately. Budd Bay Cafe is the better option to go to for sure.
