I'm sad to have to write a bad review of the sticky bun I bought at the Farmers Market today. It looked delicious but is dry and doesn't have much flavor. In my opinion it needs much more gooey topping and much more cinnamon in the dough. I shouldn't have to say this but - don't over bake it. Soooooo disappointed.

We stopped in here for lunch because we were in the neighborhood. We both ordered the Ruben pastrami sandwich. It was very disappointing. One thin slice of questionable meat of pastrami, a sprinkling of purple cabbage and congealed cheese. Pressed in a sandwich press until the already thin bread was cracker thin. Reminiscent of why I usually dislike sandwiches, We each had a cup of soup with our sandwich. Mine was cream of mushroom and it was very thick and "creamy." There were some tasty mushrooms in it. The pastries and baked goods looked good in the case, but we were so put off by the sandwiches that we were reluctant to try anything else. Move along, you can find something better in this town.

We stopped here for breakfast after an early visit to the State Capitol. It’s a fairly large bakery with seating. The service was friendly and the pasties were a good size and very tasty.

Great place for lunch! Ton of amazing food and the bakery had a wide variety of delicious treats. The service was great as well!

We stopped in here after exploring the capitol. We couldn't decide what to get so we ordered pastries to eat there with coffee, tea and a chai latte and desserts to take home. The ladies working there were friendly and helpful. Metered street parking is limited in front, but it's close to walk from the capitol.

I have ordered many cakes throughout the years at Wagner's bakery. They do an amazing job every time! The cakes taste delicious and the decorations are outstanding! I like how you can customize the cakes and cookies. Thank you for making my daughters 17th birthday cake and cookies. Truly wonderful.

Limited menu and half full bakery case, but sandwiches were good and very full of turkey, and came with a delicious piece of cake. Staff seemed overworked and a bit impatient. About 1/4 of the tables filled so could eat at more distance from others. Contactless payment. They didn't have either of my favorite cookies that day so will have to try again later, when more business allows for more bakery selections.
Had a lemon bar today and it was tasty. But the strawberry rhubarb tart was other worldly. I hope I don't visit them at the Farmers Market every weekend. That would make meeting my fitness goals tough

Have enjoyed Wagner's Bakery for years for breakfast lunch and all our favorite treats. Recently had them do a specialty cake for us on short notice and they were wonderful to work with! Cake came out perfect! Definitely recommend!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. One employee in particular was to date the most rude interaction from an employee that I’ve ever had in a place of business. If this was the only place on earth that sold cake, I’d never eat cake again just to avoid ever having to deal with the abusive employee that I had the misfortune of having to experience the one and only time I spent money here.

WOW !! We were so shocked !!! The pictures MUST have been taken when someone cared and they were busy. NOTHING AT ALL like the pics. We got there at 12:20 and feared waiting for a seat. HAHA !! Seating for 50 & we were the ONLY ONES THERE!! The help was so RUDE we almost walked out. There was an offensive old musty smell there as well. SUCH A SHAME!! We will not be back.
