Great, small cozy restaurant with great food too! I had a Spruce burger and my husband had the fried chicken sandwich and both were amazing, in fact reportedly the "best fried chicken I've ever had" per my husband. Loved the old timey lanterns hanging for lighting and Stanley mugs lining the bar. We arrived at 5:45 pm and had a table right away which was great too!

I wish everyone I love could experience this place. Super friendly greeting at the door, with a genuine smile and warm demeanor. The ambience was relaxed and cozy, the service was prompt but never pushy, and always professional and fun. The best part though, was the food. I ordered the fried chicken burger, the flavor was perfect. I felt like I was having a Guy Fieri moment of finding the "perfect bite". The worst part was the last bite when I knew the experience of eating would end. I cannot recommend this place enough and I truly hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Mediocre bar food with the slightly elevating distinction of offering vegan/vegetarian food for the discerning customer. Location fronting the ferry docks downtown is ideal, with parking lots across the pedestrian friendly street. I ate a "tempeh" barbeque-sauce slathered burger with fries, which was classic bar food and didn't disappoint -- but really no finesse and the use of the stock barbeque sauce to give it flavor left nothing else of note. The "goat cheese and beet salad" I wanted as a side was delivered with brown wilted lettuce obvious at first glance to both the server and myself. I expected her to not set it down in front of me shamelessly. She did set it down and expect me to consume bad food. I asked her to please take it back to the chef and request a different bed of greens. Once corrected it tasted fine. The server should not have served this to me and it showed a sloppy kitchen. A wholly unremarkable $40 dropped on forgettable fare. The drinks on the other hand seemed a lot more eclectic and fun. I was out of moolah for drinks.

This place has a very small menu - make sure to check online before you come in! I was planning on bringing my friend for her bday dinner here, but once we sat down, I realized they didn't have any of the menu items either of us had decided we were going to order. Luckily, the server was not offended when I apologized and told her we would return another time when it wasn't a birthday celebration. This place is a bit divey and would be great for starting out an evening or having a night cap.

Let's start with the atmosphere-retro with a current and cool, local vibe. Cocktails were flavorful and swanky. (Highly recommend "The Gloria") Our server was knowledgable about the cocktails, apps and entree options. She clearly led us well and loved helping us make our choices. She seemed to have pride in working at this unique local establishment. All food choices in our party of four were outstanding and plentiful. Put Spruce on the top of your list if you are looking for a great meal experience in Port Angeles!

I have only been here once and the food was okay. Nothing amazing. The meat on my burger was too undercooked for my liking and they didn't ask how I like my meat. Prices are very high. The veggie balls are very good though.

Yall were not kidding when you raved about them Brussel sprouts! My friend and I DEVOURED those! It was my birthday today and we decided to give them a try because they seemed to have a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. While I will say their vegetarian and vegan options were limited, the ones they did have were delicious! The food was fantastic, service was great, and the atmosphere was very homey. Highly recommend!

Was ok. Beef burger a little rare and mushy for my taste. Bacon dates were a highlight.

The food is just Ok. Nothing special. We had spicy chicken sandwich, four grilled cheese sandwich and chocolate cake. The service was super quick and the lady actually helped us in getting know more about the area.
