They don’t answer the phone, Google says they’re open, even lets us place an online order that takes our money. Then we show up and they’re not open?? Make it make sense.

Was really pumped to try this place. The men working were all very nice. Unfortunately, I won’t be back because our food was pretty much inedible and extremely overpriced. One Philly cheesesteak, one burger, one tiny fry and a small Mac n cheese with two sodas was $65 for two people. We each took a few bites of everything we ordered and unfortunately ended up throwing the rest out.The bread for the Philly tasted stale, the meat had an aftertaste, and there wasn’t enough meat on the sandwich. The burger looked like it was going to be delicious, but unfortunately it was bland and you could tell the burger patties were frozen. The texture of the meat is rough. The fries were cold and under seasoned and there were barely any included with the order. Even the sodas didn’t have enough carbonation. The Mac n cheese was probably the best thing, but even that was bland and tasteless compared to all other macs.I feel bad writing a rough review because the staff seems really great. But I honestly feel like I was robbed. Charging this amount of money for the quality of food received should be illegal. We got McDonald’s to replace the food we threw out and it was better for $20. Sorry guys ?

I don't think they're going to last. For a $20 combo meal the burger was not all that. The sauteed bell peppers did not fit the burger at all. Sauce was bland. Too

Not cheap but good food. You may have to knock on the window to get Adrian's attention. Might be loud in there or something. The tex mex burger is good.

The burger was one of the best I've ever had anywhere in my life. Which it better be for almost $20 for just the burger. But honestly the burger alone was so delicious and filling that I didn't need to spend the extra $6 for fries and a drink. Staff was polite when they came out from the kitchen but the atmosphere wasn't very inviting or comfortable. But again the burger was AMAZING!!

The food was bad and the service was poor. The burger patty was tasteless and had a good size piece of bone in it. The portions of fries and onion rings are small for a regular. The onion rings were overcooked. It was expensive for a burger and fries/onion rings.Edit: Response. The burger was absolutely tasteless and had a good size piece of bone in it, not bones (plural). Learn to read more thoroughly. Your customer service was poor. The portions of fries were small. Go to any similar establishment and compare theirs to yours. I do not want any more food from you. It's terrible.

I'll start off by saying, I don't post reviews for places, actually this might be my first. I walked in near closing, never been here before and ordered a Swiss mushroom burger with fries, I asked to hold the drink as I'm not a fan of soda usually. They discounted it for that which was very generous. The card machine malfunctioned so they had to use a different one so I didn't even have the option to tip for the service. Then the owner came out with the food and talked for a bit and threw in a free snack bar even! The fries were salted perfectly, hot and fresh. You could taste the rosemary aioli on the burger and the homemade pickles were tasty. Not to mention the caramelized onions, mushrooms, and the patty layered together. Not too greasy or lean, right midfield. I'm not from the area, but when I drive by I will be returning because of the great service and better food.

This place has the worst food I've ever had. Ordered a chilli dog for lunch today. The dog wasn't edible, it was like it was dehydrated. Horrible!Only about half of my fries were edible.... the other half were tooth breakers. Pricing is so far out, it was ridiculous! For $20 I got a large fry, which isn't anywhere near normal large sizes, (smaller) a large drink a couple bites of some chilli on a hotdog bun (dog wasn't edible) and about half of a small, but labeled "large" fry. Guy working the counter was nice, though.

I was so excited that I found a place that does Philly CheeseSteak!! A hole in the wall spot gotta be bomb right?? Was hoping to find a missing piece of my heritage here..Nope No Zero Zip Nada they are 26 dollar for the saddest all bread and mostly onions with barely any meat piles of nothing for a ton of money..This should be a crime to call these Philly cheesesteaks..I have been let down and now I feel hopeless again why can't we get a legit Philly cheesesteak around here

Recently moved to the area and I've been trying local restaurants — sadly, I won't be returning. I ordered the philly cheesesteak and I'm not sure how one could mess it up as badly as this. The bread tasted old, the meat was wayyy over seasoned, and barely any cheese! I didn't even finish mine and I ordered a half size... not to mention how expensive it is. Totally not worth it. Like other reviewers have said, just go to Jimmy John's or Quizno's.

Wanted to try this place out. Drove all the way there and get there at 8:15 to find out they are closed and the times posted on the menu show they don't close until 9:30. There were people in there but I guess they don't want my

A Fantastic Dining Experience at Hoagiebear in Gorst!!I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hoggiebear in Gorst, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality from the owners, who happen to be a delightful and passionate couple. They not only took the time to welcome us but also engaged in conversation, making us feel right at home.Let's talk about the food. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Philly Cheesesteak, Jalapeno Poppers, Chipotle Chicken and Ranch Taco, and a Cheeseburger Sliders kids meal. Every single item we tried was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and vibrant, and the ingredients were undoubtedly fresh. I particularly enjoyed the Super Fresh Pico de Gallo, which added a burst of freshness to the dishes. The chef's passion for his craft was evident in every bite. It was clear that he treats his food as a form of art. Each dish was meticulously prepared and beautifully presented. The attention to detail was commendable, and it truly elevated the dining experience. The standout for me was the chef's homemade pickled cucumbers. They were a delightful surprise and added a delightful tanginess to the meal. Not only did the chef excel in his culinary skills, but his wife also played a role in making our visit memorable. She offered my daughter little treats for after the meal, which was a thoughtful gesture that showcased their commitment to excellent customer service.Overall, our experience at Hoggiebear was fantastic. The combination of flavors, the love infused into each dish, and the evident passion of the owners created a dining experience that exceeded our expectations. I am already looking forward to returning and exploring more of their menu offerings. If you're in Gorst, I highly recommend visiting Hoggiebear. Whether you're craving a mouthwatering Philly Cheesesteak, flavorful Jalapeno Poppers, or any other delectable item on their menu, you won't be disappointed. Prepare to be amazed by the culinary artistry and heartfelt hospitality that await you at Hoggiebear.
