Read reviews and really wanted to try this place. Waited and waited to be acknowledged and seated during a very slow week day.Atmosphere seemed dusty and dull.We left before being seated. Maybe we missed out on something amazing...

Absolutely overpriced garbage . Fish and chips, seafood chowder, calamari all beyond bland, everything tasted like straight flour coating,no flavor whatsoever. My date and I both vomited and had diarrhea immediately after leaving the restaurant.Worst meal I’ve had in a very long time.Server was great but that doesn’t make up for $100.00 worth of garbage, never again…do yourself a favor and go anywhere else, unless you’re in need of a full body cleanse, then this is the place for you!?

A hidden gem in the heart of downtown Port Orchard. Inside the Port Orchard public market. Started with a Blackberry cider which was served at just the right temperature. For an appetizer - house prepared French Onion soup. Hot, flavorful and the optimal cheese to soup ratio. The main course, which was shared, consisted of 12 lightly battered shrimp and Dock fries. We added a side of cole slaw to complete our meal. Good crunch and not too sweet. The establishment was not crowded, but I'm certain that on the weekends seating might be hard to come by. Next time, I'm leaving room for dessert

We litterly sat for over 20 minutes and while people who got there after us got there orders taken. Not sure what the problem was but the service sucks. Was actually looking forward to the food. Lost our business.

Because the seating area is in a shared space, sometimes it is cold in there. I always bring a coat.

Great fried seafood combo w/fries. Came with a coleslaw and tartar sauce. We look forward to coming back to try some of the tasy looking sandwiches on the menu.

The food was incredible, as Nebraska natives we know our beef and the burgers were incredible. Slow service every time we go though...like crazy slow.

We went here yesterday, first glance I thought food court. But we sat down anyway. With moments I realized just how wrong I was. It is like an outdoor bistro feel, but inside. This is a bonus in the PNW. We sat at the bar with a view of the kitchen, best seat in the house. Then we met the staff, impressive to say the least. Warm and welcoming. Willing to answer all our questions. There was a warm camaraderie amongst everyone, but at the same time they were always busy and on task. We watched the cooks and man were they impressive, busy quick but not frantic. Food tasting for quality was evident. The Kyle's were rocking it. The executive chef was present and hands on. Friendly and kind to guests and staff, you know he cares. Our waitress was wonderful, the dishwasher hustling and fun. We got the Creole Calamari to start. OMG, so perfect. Light breading, and perfect cook. The calamari was not rubbery at all, so perfectly cooked and tender. Then we had French onion soup and the Shrimp Po'boy. Mouthgasms! You knew the soup was made n house from scratch. The shrimp..... very light batter, you could see the shrimp. The cook, the shrimp popped when you bit down, the hallmark of a perfectly cooked shrimp. Bottom line love the staff and food. Will definitely eat here again, may even go out of our way. It would be worth it. I recommend The Dock to everyone.
