Everything here was just perfect! Staff were amazing, lovely cozy atmosphere, my coffee was excellent and the coffee cake I had was made with rhubarb and was completely out of this world! I will be making an effort to come here every time I pass through Port Townsend.
I told my husband Anthony Bourdain faked his own death and opened a coffee shop in Pretty Townsend. My husband told me to shut my blasphemous mouth but when I showed him a creepily-snapped photo of the barista (owner?) at Seal Bar he had to agree the resemblance was strong. I don't know if even Bourdain himself could have made a latte on par with Seal Bar's, though I'm sure he'd have enjoyed drinking one. We enjoyed our pastry as well.
