What great fun reading the reviews for the wonderful Pane d’Amore bakery in Port Townsend. Imagine fresh, chewy crust, perfectly baked; makes you feel on top of the world, strolling down the street, tearing pieces, hand to mouth, a grin across your face like an upside-down rainbow. Amazingly friendly service. Not the full selection that uptown has but a good selection for a quick lunch.Only thing that I can say "negatively" is that sometimes the focaccia has WAY TO MUCH flour on the bottom, making it rather unpleasant to eat. I much more prefer the corn meal. But always a great experience and wonderful staff.

Very friendly people are working there! We stopped there with kids when the shop was unfortunately closed but had pleasure watching them baking bread through big windows - people were very cheerful and super friendly! They even offered the kids something to try and it was delicious! They made my day ? Of course we want to support this wonderful local business and intend to buy different types of bread once they will be open!
