“The food here is some of my favorite, always comes out very quickly and food is always very hot and tastes very fresh. Also, I'm very particularly about meat (fat and cartilage freaks me out), but the meat here is always very high quality! And always fantastic service here, staff is always super nice.“

“I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience there. I had never been in before and went in yesterday for a late lunch. The service was prompt and helpful. I ordered three things, knowing I would take home leftovers. Everything was delicious. The tempura shrimp appetizer was done perfectly. The moo shu chicken was amazing. The only less than perfect thing was the broth on the wonton soup, as it seemed a little bland; today, however, it is very flavorful. I paid $35 for what is going to turn out to be at least three meals, possibly more. I will definitely go back.“

“I have been coming to The Golden Lion for many, many years. The food is excellent! My favorite is the Almond Chicken- although I like everything I've ever ordered! “I am pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food is for the price. I like it better than Panda Express. I usually get combo 3 with noodles and it gets me full...this says a lot because I have a voracious appetite. I usually get the bourbon chicken, hibachi chicken, walnut shrimp (doesn't have walnuts), orange chicken, mushroom chicken, and kung Pao chicken...all delicious and even more so if they just came off the wok.“

“Myself and my family at large have been going to this restaurant for decades and the quality and service that this restaurant has provided has remained the same throughout the years. The food I just had today is just as tasty and what I remembered it to be when I was a kid way back in the 90s. Golden star is a restaurant that can be easy to miss and it truly is a gem in this area. I don't think I could recommend this restaurant more if I tried.“

“A wise TikTok once said: "if a Chinese restaurant has 3.5 stars, that means it's good and authentic". I don't know how authentic the food here is but it sure is good. I always stick with the beef dishes, cause they never miss. Mongolian Beef is great and basically everyone would like it, and I love the Sichuan Beef even though it's an acquired taste and a lot of the people here on Bainbridge (if you catch my drift) won't be fans.“

My mom couldn't get enough of the sesame shrimp - they were a hit!We were all about the food and the top-notch service. The value for what you get is spot-on, and the prices are honest. We dove into the BBQ Pork, slurped up some Egg Flower Soup, and those Egg Rolls were a crispy delight. We're definitely coming back for more of this winning combo!“

“Everywhere else was super busy so we figured we'd give this place a whirl. It was slow when we came in, as this place seems to mainly do takeout/online orders but we sat in and it was cute! Small and compact, but cute. Food came out quick and hot! Wasn't terribly priced either, and portions were large.“

The drive through is convenient and the owners seem nice. The other dishes here have also been very tasty.“

“Service was very slow, almost non-existent. I had ordered a sandwich and quite a long time later when no food had come, I flagged down a server and asked when I would get my order. I was later informed that they had run out of some of the ingredients for that sandwich. When were they planning on telling me??!! I hesitantly ordered a burger in its place. The crab wontons were good. I don't think I would return there, though.“

“Overall tasty food. This place is best if you love seafood. Crab, shrimp, oysters, and other pricey options are steaming hot and ready to eat. Lots of sushi options as well. Mongolian grill is good, but almost more meat than vegetable options to add.The other options are typical Chinese buffet, like fried rice and spring rolls.“
