Was looking for breakfast on a Sunday morning. This place was one of the highest rated places in Pullman. Because it was in the hospital I made sure to check its hours of operation on their website, and it stated it was open daily with no caveats. We arrived around 1030 and had to go around to the Emergency Room entrance to find parking. Upon entering we found the doors to the main hospital locked. A staff member at the emergency room desk informed us that the cafe was not open to the public on the weekends.I could have saved myself a lot of time and hassle going somewhere else if they provided accurate information to the public beforehand. This place does not deserve a 4.7 rating on Google.

Good food, low prices. Part of the hospital. With current viruses, service is mostly limited at this time to people coming in for Dr., Lab and imaging appointments etc. Plus staff and volunteers. Masking is required except while eating or drinking in the cafe. Masking is required in the hospital all the time otherwise.

The food is fantastic. It's hard to believe that it's technically a hospital cafeteria. They usually have 2 interesting dinner entrees plus pizza and grill options. Drip coffee is free, and there's also an espresso menu. Much of the food is modestly priced. A few items cost more. Actually, I like their breakfasts even better!

Tasty, affordable, no frills but well worth stopping by. The staff is friendly, fast and accommodating and the choices vary weekly from traditional burger and fries to fish and chips in addition to healthier options like yoghurt , soups, vegetables and fresh fruit. The seating area around the cafe is nice w floor to ceiling windows and live plants.

Low budget, free coffee and good food. Definitely a place to crush in if you're looking for a quick fix breakfast that is healthy

Where else in Pullman can you get a hot main course for $4.50? Nowhere else but the Red Sage Cafe at Pullman Regional Hospital. Historical jokes about bad hospital food certainly do NOT apply here. I've had better Balsamic Steak Salads here than at other full service dining restaurants, priced at $4.50 VS $15 at a local restaurant. Not a full service restaurant but a casual dining cafe. Super value pricing. Fantastic, friendly courteous and helpful staff. Hot line menu selections for lunch vary daily, usually 2 options. Hot line opens for lunch from 11AM to 2PM daily. Hot line reopens at 5PM - 7PM for dinner, Mon through Friday. 2 Soups of the Day 11AM til close, Weekdays fresh salad bar, Daily pizza, prepackaged sandwiches/salads/desserts for those in a hurry. Grilled and deep fried items to order from open til close. Pastry items baked fresh daily include scones, cookies and muffins. Free coffee and wireless internet. Open to the entire community, not just visitors, patients and staff. Weekdays open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, closes 7PM. Weekends open for breakfast and lunch, closes 2PM. Monthly menu available on hospital website and printed handouts in cafe. (All prices and times are correct as of Jan 17, 2020)
