I've been coming here for 25 years, and it has never once been anything but amazing!! I've met 2 people who don't like the food out (just personal preference, i guess) of the many I have exposed to it. My family and I have always loved the food, and it has never disappointed! Cantonese meal is the best!!! So good!

Good run of the mill Chinese restaurant. Staff was friendly but the food was a bit more sugary than expected. Overall a pleasant dinning

People were nice, food has gone downhill :( chow mein was not as good as it was. Portions are smaller than before. They are now on super reduced hours so I really can’t order or eat there due to my work schedule. I don’t see them being around much longer. If you want to eat there I’d go sooner rather than later.

Red Lotus closed down. So we are extremely happy to find this Athletic Chinese restaurant. The Almond chicken is so so yummy. And the chicken chowmain is great, it has beansprout in it and all the the fresh hot food arriving to the table , awesome. We will be there this Friday. I'm salivating already.

This was the first time I had been here and probably my last. Ordered chicken chow mein and was asked if I wanted soft or crunchy noodles? Ok , I have never been asked that before, I went with soft. The whole dish has no flavor. It was more bean sprouts than noodles. But still had no flavor. We also had the broccoli with beef, white rice, and wonton soup. All had no flavor. The wonton soup had a weird after taste and the white rice came out too wet and mushy. As for first impressions it was not good. Not what I expected after paying $60 for these 4 dishes. The service was excellent but we also got our food to go and it was close to closing apparently. The restaurant closes at 7:30 PM.Overall not a good experience.

Just ordered from here and the quality isnt great. I am asian and my standard for asian food is high due to the prices, with it being a luxury to do take out now, as well as, eating mostly asian food my whole life. Its lazy chinese food and bland, I guess I am biased as I prefer korean Chinese food due to the overall quality of how its made and tastes but maybe they think since there is not many chinese restaurants here, their quality can be whatever because the only thing to compare it to is panda express. Sweet and sour chicken was falling apart with huge uncut pieces, chow mein isnt made with noodles which is really strange and disappointing, broccoli beef is very bland and the best thing was shrimp fried rice. First and last time ordering

Food was overpriced. And not good. Chow mien had more bean sprouts than noodles. The waitress argued with us about taking celery out. It was just a hot mess and service was not

Been going here since I was a kid with my parents. Now I'm the parent and we still go even though we live nearly 2 hours away. Same great food, and friendly service. Our last visit was great except for the loud and racist people that we were seated behind. Not the restaurant fault. It's too bad that those people were so proud to be racist that they all spoke booming loud so everyone in the room could hear the disgusting rhetoric that spat from their mouths. People like that need to just stay home.

I have been going to the House of Kee since 1982...the food has the best flavor of any restaurant on South Hill and I have been to all of them. I went the other day and ordered the King.. You start off with the won ton soup and then this amazing spring roll...sooo tasty..then the pork tenderloin aka barbecue pork with the hot mustard sesame seeds and ketchupI usually order a beverage, thenThen your main meal comesIf you like Chinese food (American style) I promise you this. This is so tasty you will eat till you are so full you'll need to be rolled out of there? The menu also has all kinds of choices all at a fair price...I hope thus helps youVegetarian options: There are dishes that are totally vegetarian friendly and so tastyParking: There is plenty of parking for everyone .. On the side of the restaurant, there is room for a rvIf you're passing thru town and need a great meal!

Great food, the waiter kept bumping into my chair, and placed the serving tray on my foot. Other than the careless teenager waiter everything was great.

Their food is still very good. Their prices have gone up, to be expected. But what surprised me was how much smaller their portions have gotten. At some point you have to wonder if it's worth it. I am about at that point.Update 7/23. This place has been my all time favorite for over 20 years. Not anymore. The prices have gotten way too high . The portions shrunk. The quality of the food has gone down. The broth in the wonton soup is different. The sweet and sour pork is hard and tough. I know the owners want to retire and they have drastically reduce the hours they are open , but it seems they have checked out. I am sadly disappointed.
