Absolutely disgusting. I am a huge taco Del Mar fan, by far easily the grossest and most unsatisfying one I have ever been to. Never go here if you are reading this, the one off of meridian is excellent might as well be a different franchise it’s so much different. This place has dried out stale meat (every protein choice literally has a hard crust to it it’s so dry and stale) gross also the portions are so inconsistent I got 2 burritos both had very different amounts of rice beans and meat and both were the same order. Disappointing and a 0/10 both times I’ve went. Never giving this place another chance and will forever go to the one off of meridian next to tj max because that place is actually good.

This place is gross. I would strongly recommend staying away unless you want to end up in the hospital over food poisoning. Their meets are old and expired, their vegetables are old and dried from days in the refrigerator, their salsas are also spoiled, and their fountain drinks filter are dirty. I hope the health department sees my comments and follows up with an immediate inspection before the whole town gets sick.

Eat at your own risk! To put it simply this place is just disgusting. The pots in the food bar were all empty and crusty. No food safety rules were being followed. I asked for some cilantro since the cilantro pan was empty and dirty. The older gentleman (with a beard) said no problem, he started cutting cilantro without food contact gloves or washing his hands and threw it on my burrito. The parts of my food that was supposed to be warm was cold and the parts that were supposed to be refrigerated was warm. I threw it all away. I did not want to get sick over $30 worth of food. If that is the front of the restaurant I don't even want to imagine what goes on in the back.

I've tried to order food there 3 times in the last 2 months & everytime there is only 1 person working & handling online orders first. I stood there for 10-20 minutes each time & never got helped. I left mad & won't go back. since the new owners took over its been HORRIBLEVegetarian options: Food has been barely Luke warm last 2 times I did get served

For the price, the serving size was extremely small. I got 3 chopped pieces of lettuce for my burrito bowl and the ingredients only filled 1/2 of the bowl, whereas it used to fill the bowl completely, for half the price. Don’t ask for anything extra either because they just ignore you. It was disappointing.

We have not been to Taco Del Mar in a long time. It will be even longer until we go back to this location. The person who took our order had as much personality as a rock. She was very soft spoken, but was "flat," not welcoming at all. My wife ordered the deluxe nachos. There was nothing deluxe about them at all. The chips were barely warm. The small amount of cheese that was put on did not melt at all. The remainder of the toppings were applied almost if a tablespoon was used. A very small amount of guacamole cost almost an additional $3.. I ordered the seafood and lobster tacos. There was not enough of the product left on hand to make my order up. I settled for burrito. It was OK, just OK. We had to order side of rice and beans just to have enough food. The side was two spoons of rice and a spoon of beans. The restaurant itself looked "dirty," in need of a deep cleaning. With a tip we spent almost $30 for a less than satisfactory meal. We went to the location that was on the West side of Canyon Road before it closed, and always enjoyed it. This location was no bueno.

The location seems to have been recently purchased by new owners and after watching them work, I can say that they have zero knowledge of how to use anything there to make the food. They spoke only Pakistani or Arabic and I didn't see any of them use any gloves or wash their hands while preparing the food. They had a recent inspection by the health department and it was barely passing. I've worked in food industry for 10 years and I've never seen a place this bad since I first started cooking in Freighthouse square. Also the rating for the Health Department are in the Pics. The "OKAY" is never okay and should never be taking lightly. DO NOT EAT THERE! Unless you want to be sick for awhile.

When a customer comes through the door and you look at them, don't frown -- smile and say Hello! :D (<-- see, a bright smile) When they are ordering, don't mumble -- speak clearly and with presence (still smiling is also good). Honestly, for all my experience at numerous TDMs ... this probably ranks as the least impressive.

I have been a taco Del Mar regular for years and had to come on and leave a review about this location. It appears as though this location is able to complete alter the recipe in order to save money. The location is cheap and dirty. The punch cards are printed on paper, things just looked like they're trying to cut corners. The tortillas were dirty with black char on them. The queso is different. They probably just bought the cheapest one they can find. I know taco Del Mar and this just wasn't it.
