Kind of pissed at this point that they're still closed and haven't sorted something out with their Union situation. It appears the *other* locations are open? I can order their stuff online sometimes, it's all very confusing.All that and I don't even know what the Union wants. There has been zero messaging in any clear way about what's up. However I'm not really surprised, it seems this is a common modus operandi in Seattle. Considering the issue maybe I'd support the Union, but as is all I know is I've had services and amenities removed for no apparent reason because of a strike.

Used to love going here for breakfast and lunch. Often multiple times a week. Unfortunately, this location has been closed for 3 months (since late October, 2023) due to a strike. How a sandwich shop can be on strike for so long boggles the mind. Hope they figure it out soon, and I'll happily update this when they do. Until then, it's just a waste of valuable real estate in the heart of downtown.

My experiences eating at Homegrown over the past couple years have left a lot to be desired. What’s far more disenchanting is the disgruntled staff engaging in continuous protests and subjecting the neighborhood to hours of obnoxious drums and megaphones. This obviously reflects very poorly on the business. I understand that these individuals have their own motivations, but it’s incredibly irritating at this point. It’s really too bad you are so inconsiderate of your collective staff and the surrounding community. That is a great space that could be used for a more reputable establishment that would contribute positively to our community.

I’ve been to this location thrice now and it was closed even though Google says it’s open.I used to be regular here, the quality of service and food has certainly gone down in the recent past. I’ve seen workers on strike here recently, could be related to that.

Food is fresh and filling and very consistent, though some options can be very rich, so order with less sauce if that's your taste. There are a small number of tables so your best move is to order to-go and eat in the nearby park on a nice day. The Za'atar sandwich is amazingly flavorful.

I was pretty disappointed all around, and had a suspicion it would be. I live very close by, I’ve seen protest again this company by people who work there. No body greeted us when we walked in, people who came in after us got their food first. I ordered the spicy tofu bowl, and made a mistake of having the dressing tossed in. The soggiest, nastiest salad I’ve ever had. The kitchen was filthy, and nobody there looked even remotely happy. Would NEVER come back here, or recommend this location.

Made the totally wrong sandwich. Ordered online, so I know my order was right. Totally different meats, spread, everything wrong—including ingredients I can't eat, so it's a waste.Picked up 30min before closing, and they don't answer their phones 10min before closing despite the phone system being on. I'll be taking it back to throw on the counter for a refund tomorrow, I guess.Really frustrating when you drive all the way to the new home you're working nights to remodel only to find your food is wrong and you can't even drive back to fix it. So pissed. Mainly at the customer service, because mistakes do happen but I expect someone to be reachable when calling before the business is closed, so issues can be remedied.Wasted time and $20, and now I get to leave again to find something to eat.
