Ezell's chicken strips are my absolute favorite. Been here countless times. Staff is always cool. The strips take longer to cook than I prefer, but they are worth the wait. Their fried chicken is great too. I just prefer the regular strips. I could eat them every day. All the food is very good though. The fries and/or fried okra are my favorite sides. Just some good food!
My biggest frustration is not the food itelf but rather the inconsistency of this brand… it’s not just this location but all of them!If your business is open until 9:00pm, that means at 8:04pm, you should still have product available to sell.I come here for the chicken, the Mac n’ cheese n other sides… the peach cobbler is so good.But what is not good is the reality that every single day two hours to three hours before they close right after the dinner rush, they stop making fresh food… Their tagline should not be a eZelle‘s famous chicken, but a eZelle‘s famous for closing self and not continuing to cook food.Again, I love this brand and the food is amazing when it is Fresh and actually available.I get it it’s a business… And it’s all about monitoring your waist and ensuring that you don’t take a huge loss, but then close at 7 PM every day or make your food as people order ut not in bulk.
The picture says it all. Smh. Why would you even charge someone for this or serve it. Like I’m legit offended by this. This is supposed to be a chicken breast that I paid $7 for but it’s no bigger than a leg. I’m so mad right now.
I hadn’t been to Ezell’s in years, 5+. I came to the Highlands location and was not disappointed. The people here were EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming. I ordered the special two piece, it was fresh hot and so good. I went to the rainier location near the Renton airport to get more and because it was closer and ended up being disappointed-hard chicken..I guess it was old. I will continue to go the highlands location for sure!

Best chicken around. Everything was great. One of my sauces leaked and the person working at the counter replaced it. I'll come back again.

If it wasn't for the rude employees and the drug deal in the back parking lot - my first time visit to this franchise wouldn't have been so bad.......
