I availed myself of their truck service to order the Miso Sesame Tofu Vegan Burger and Cheese Balls. The taste was acceptable, though not remarkable. I had anticipated the cheese balls to have a more chewy texture, but they were more akin to mashed potatoes. The vegan burger was similarly okay. I didn't sample their non-vegetarian offerings, which could potentially be more satisfying. Considering the prices, which leaned towards the higher side, I had high expectations. However, the overall experience was simply alright.

Hired homebites for an event and the food was truly pretty good. Only issue was the actual experience of working with Mike as a vendor. If you do choose to hire him to cater just be sure to capture in great detail exactly what is agreed upon in regards to menu, pricing and service. We were not so smart which led to surprise invoices after the event and last minute unapproved changes in serving style.

The reason I'm typing this is because we acquired Home Bites to cater our wedding in July.Two constants that were consistent throughout the 5 months of working with Mike was poor communication and deceptive pricing. If you do choose to hire as a vendor be very specific on menu decisions, services and prices. We recieved an aditional invoice the day after the wedding occured (July 1st) because of a change we had decided on in Feb. Food was great. Service was poor.

We had Home Bites come out for a Corporate event and they were GREAT! The food was amazing. They were fast and friendly and so easy to work with. Next time we have an event on site... we will definitely ask them to come back. The office staff and warehouse staff all loved their food. Everyone was smiling and thanking us for organizing the event. There's something for everyone on their menu. Healthy and comfort food and options for those without food concerns. We have a gluten free person, a vegetarian and a kosher person on site and they all enjoyed the food they were able to order that addressed their dietary needs! Thank you Mike & team!

Food Bites came out to our school for a PTSA event. They arrived early and was ready to go well before our event was under way. The food was tasty, fresh and served in a timely manner. I especially enjoyed the spanakopita samosas! We appreciate Mike and his crew supporting our school!

The food was good, but the waiting time for the food is what led me to give three stars. On the website to order the food, it said that it would only take 15 minutes to prepare. Instead it took an hour just for them to start preparing the food. If the wait time could have been less than an hour, this review could have been 5 stars.
