“I bought my first pie from Ms. Margie's at the Georgetown Farmers Market over the summer. It was perfect: the sweet potato was perfectly flavored, no weird lumps of over-seasoned anything... crusty but not crumbly crust... it was heaven. Sweet potato pie is tied for my all time favorite pie -- so pie perfection is not a status easily obtained in my mind! Today I was at Popeye's in Renton [don't you judge me!!] and they had a little printed out sign plugging Ms. Margie's pies. Along with my cup of beetus [sweet tea], I ordered a 3" pie. It was absolute perfection. I see an influx of trips to Popeye's in my immediate future. If you aren't lucky enough to run into the lovely man selling his wares at a Farmers Market... go to the Renton Popeye's. I want them to continue to sell well so I can get one whenever I want one. Which is all the time, if you were curious.“

“Usually it's good food and calm quiet atmosphere.... When they are busy the service gets a bit stretched.On my recent visit we had a group of 9 and the food took a long time (my pho was forgotten until we reminded them) and some items were forgotten (like the additions to my ohi....line, sprouts, etc).I will say this last time was the first time like this and they are usually good, clean and calm (although never that fast). I really enjoy have them near and will definitely return.“

“First time at spice wala and I am definitely coming back for the chicken tikka roll and the aloo tikki chaat. The chicken was marinated and prepared so well. Maza aa gaya khake. It was masaledar, chatpata and had the perfect tikka flavor. The aloo tikki is the closest to authentic Indian aloo tikki I have had in the US. It would have been even better had it been crispy from outside - the crispiness you get from cooking the tikki in ghee but at least the aloo filling tasted quite authentic. Also tried their lamb kebab roll which again was really good. It was quite filling because it had a good amount of lamb kebab inside. And how can I not mention the parle-g twist with chai. The chai has dominant cardamom taste in case somebody doesn't like cardamom in their tea. But the best part was that we were asked if we would like parle-g with it and who can say no to it ? Had a great time enjoying the taste of Indian street food. Thank you!!!Vegetarian options: The roll has 2 non-veg options (chicken and lamb). The rest of the menu is veg.“

“Deez dogz hit the spot after the concert. Great hot dog stand with fast friendly & lovely service. Good toppings so you can have the dogs just the way you like them. And simple sides (chips and soda) perfect for snacking. We had a spicy and a Polish and both were hot and delicious.“
